Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bangalore to Madikeri:

  Arrival at Bangalore (139 km from Bangalore) and proceed to Madikere (Coorg) (128 km). Proceed for sightseeing if time permits.Abby Falls : Abby Falls is a beautiful waterfall.Next up is Raja's Seat: it’s here that the erstwhile Kings of Kodagu are said to have been spending their evenings. Raja’s seat is known for spectacular sunsets. Overnight at Coorg.
• Day 2 : Madikeri - Kushalnagar - Dubare - Madikeri

  Visit to Kushalnagar, one of the biggest and one of the most beautiful Buddhist Monasteries in India.Also visit Dubare Elephant Park, 4 km from Kushalnagar, for an intimate experience with Elephants. With the naturalists, you can know more about Elephants and view from a close distance its various activities like its bathing and feeding. Cauvery Nisargadham, set a midst the bamboo forests, is known for its calm and serene beauty. Overnight at Madikere.
• Day 3 : Madikeri

  Proceed to visit Tal Cauvery today.Tal Cauvery: Tala Cauvery, the birthplace of the sacred river Cauvery, is located 44 km from Madikeri, on the slopes of Brahmagiri Hill. Besides being a pilgrimage center, Tala Cauvery is known for its natural beauty. Overnight at Madikere.
• Day 4 : Madikeri - Kabini

  Kabini (120 km) is one of the most popular wildlife destinations in Karnataka, lush green landscape surrounding a large lake, and fantastic sightings of large herds of elephants, gaur & rich bird life.
  Kabini :
  Nestled in the southern fringes of the Nagarahole National Park, the Kabini River Lodge is a perfect getaway for nature lovers. The breathtaking locale with the tranquil backwaters of the River Kabini presents an ideal setting for a long-awaited vacation. Kabini is pure elephant country as one can see numerous herds at a time. Tiger sightings though are elusive.
  The main wildlife viewing activity here is the exciting safaris on open-top jeeps into the famed Nagarhole National Park. First ride into the Park is at the crack of dawn and one in the late afternoon. Traditional circular boat (made of bamboo and buffalo hide) river cruise lasting for about 45 minutes can help see as many as 150-200 elephants on a summer evening at a time. In the evening, movies on wildlife are shown in our audio-visual hall. There could also start a campfire and barbeque at the Gol Ghar in the night. Overnight at Kabini.
• Day 5 : Kabini

  Boat ride for wildlife viewing / Jungle Safari / Day at leisure. Overnight at Kabini.
• Day 6 : Kabini – Vythiri

  Proceed to Vyhtiri Resorts (Wayanad).Vythiri Resort: at the heart of a picturesque Wayanad district is a magical, romantic getaway tucked away in a lush tropical rainforest, it undoubtedly is the best romantic getaway that Kerala has to offer.Overnight at Vythiri.
• Day 7 : Vythiri

  At Vythiri, you would not want to leave the jungle and spice plantation premise. For the explorers though, options are a plenty. Should you want to explore more options, take your pick from the following :
  At Pakshi, a 4-5km hike through the forest gives opportunity to experience the sheer thrill of spotting Elephants, Indian Gaur, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Wild Boar and if you’re really lucky, the rare “barking” deer. Chembra, the highest peak in Wayanad (at 2100m above sea level), provides a breathtaking view of the entire valley and also has a path for trekking enthusiasts. Eddakal Caves are huge ancient natural cave that exhibit ancient carvings, paintings and inscriptions dating back to the stone ages. It is believed to have existed 10 centuries before Christ. A good two hours walk will enable visitors to absorb the carvings. Soojipara and hike uphill gives a beautiful view of one of the largest natural waterfalls in Wayanad. Muthunga has a guard accompanied jeep drive through the dense forest and the opportunity to spot majestic elephants and bears amongst other local wildlife. Boating is possible in Pookot Lake, a natural lake surrounded by hills and meadows.Overnight at Vythiri.
