Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi - Jim Corbett Park

  Pick up from airport/ railway station and proceed to Corbett.In Corbett wildlife park spreads over some 920.9 square km at an altitude of 600 to 1100 meters at the foothills of western Himalayas in the districts of Nainital and Pauri Garhwal. In its eventful 64-year life, it has grown considerably in size and now includes the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary as a part of its 1,319 sq km of reserved forest area. You can then head for an evening jungle safari in the care of expert naturalists
• Day 2 : Corbett - Nainital

  Early morning, visit to Corbett National Park and enjoy viewing all the wildlife. About 488 species of plants and diverse variety of fauna find their harmonious habitat at the park. Riding a jeep across the park one can observe the sub-Himalayan belts geographical and ecological characteristics here. Adventure seekers are particularly fond of the park for not just the wildlife, but also the topography with its hills, riverine belts, grasslands and more mesmerizes all. While you set on a wild rendezvous with the woods you will be accompanied by naturalists and other experts guiding and directing you through bewildering paths of the jungle. Visit the watch tower and you can also opt for an elephant ride on your own. Later head for your onwards journey to Nainital. On arrival in the beauteous town check-in your hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Nainital

  Nainital is a town in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and headquarters of Nainital district in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. Situated at an altitude of 1,938 meters (6,358 feet) above sea level, Nainital is set in a valley containing a pear-shaped lake, approximately two miles in circumference. This day will be free to explore various scenic sights and to enjoy a rejuvenating boat ride at pristine Naini Lake on your own. The lake tour of the town will take you to the shores of numerous tranquilizing streams such as Bhimtal Lake; the lake larger than famous Naini Lake is a beauteous sight which can be best enjoyed from the restaurant perched in the middle of the island in the lake. A cluster of small interconnected lakes nestled in the middle of an old oak forest Sattal Lake is a delightful sight. Next visit beauteous lake with nine corners Naukuchia Tal. Also visit Nanda Devi Temple today. After an eventful day drive back to the hotel, followed by overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Nainital - Ranikhet - Nainital

  The drive starts from Nainital to take you to Ranikhet. Rolling green hills and the distant views of Himalayas tucked in the background with a distinct old-school military atmosphere, Ranikhet is all that inspires and soothes the onlookers eyes. As you walk through the town you come across English trees lined systematically, busy bazaars selling cute curios and some peaceful lanes perfect for long nature walks. Ranikhet also offers golfing at the 9 hole Army Course besides being known for the orchards of Chaubatia and Jhoola Devi Temple. Enjoy the day at leisure.The day is free to explore the beauty of the place. Dwarahat is a holy place located about 7 km from Ranikhet. It is located amidst a beautiful valley. The Ramganga River that flows through Dwarahat is famous for its cluster of 55 temples of the Katyuni period. This is one of the places where Katyuni Kings ruled in the ancient period. Return to your hotel at Nainital at the end of the day’s sightseeing tour

  In the morning leave Nainital and get-ready for your drive backwards. You will be heading towards your onward journey or home wards on your own hereon.
