Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Coimbatore - Ooty

  Our representative will cordially welcome you from Coimbatore Airport and transfer you to Ooty by road. Check into hotel on arrival. Spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay is arranged in Ooty.

• Day 2 : Ooty

  Morning after the breakfast, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Ooty. The picturesque Ooty is located on Nilgiri, which is also called Blue Mountains. It is located at an altitude of 2240 above MSL. The landscape in Ooty is dotted with dense forests, lofty mountains, tea gardens and sprawling grass lands. Botanical Gardens, Centenary Rose Park, Rose Garden, Lake, Government Museum, Deer Park and Doddabetta are the major sightseeing attractions in Ooty. Overnight stay is arranged in Ooty.

• Day 3 : Ooty - Kodaikanal

  Check out from the hotel after the breakfast and drive to the scenic hill station of Kodaikanal. Check into the hotel on arrival. Kodaikanal is referred as the “Princess of Hill station”. It is also referred as “The Forest of Summer” and “The Forest of Creepers”. The picturesque hill station Kodaikanal is known for its rich flora. Major sightseeing attractions include the Lake, Solar Physical Observatory, Bryant Park, Coaker’s Walk, Kurunji Andavar Temple, Green Valley View, Pillar Rocks and Shembaganur Natural History Museum. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Kodaikanal - Madurai

  Check out from the hotel after an early breakfast and drive down to Madurai via Palani. Check into the hotel on arrival. Proceed for local sightseeing tour in the afternoon. The temple town of Madurai, situated on the banks of river Vaigai, is one of the most ancient cities in India with a history dating back to the pre-Christian times. It was the imperial capital of the Pandyan Empire in the 14th Century AD. Madurai was the seat of Tamil learning and the last of the Tamil Sangams (Academies) was held here nearly 2000 years ago. Major sightseeing attractions in Madurai are Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal, Gandhi Museum, Vaigai Dam, Thirupparankundrum, Athisayam Water Theme Park, Azhagar Koil and the Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam. Overnight stay is arranged at Madurai.

• Day 5 : Madurai

  Check out the hotel after the breakfast. Drive to Madurai Airport for your onward journey.
