Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Addis - Arba Minch

  Drive 505 km south of Addis to Arba Minch visiting the Rift Valley lakes of Ziway which is famous for its collection of birds, and also the Alaba and the Wolita people on your way to Arba Minch. O/N -Hotel.

• Day 2 : Arba Minch - Konso

  Morning visit a remarkable boat trip on the Rift Valley Lake of Chamo to visit the 'Crocodile Market' where you can see a display of large African crocodiles, hippos, and various aquatic bird species and drive to Konso, visit the konso people- they are resourceful, efficient charming, careful, and hard-working people with their fascinating culture and proceed to 'New York'village to visit the very beautiful landscape with mountain structure. • Day 3 : Konso - Turmi

  Drive from Konso to Turmi on the way visiting the Erbore people, in the afternoon visit Hamer people who are notable for their typical hair dressing. O/N -Hotel.

• Day 4 : Turmi - Omo Rate - Turmi

  Make an excursion trip from Turmi to Omorate to visit the southernmost tribe of Ethiopia - the Dasenech. These people are known for their body scarification and body paintings. Drive back to Turmi. And after attend the weekly cultural market of the Hamer people. O/N -Hotel.

• Day 5 : Turmi - Arba Minch

  Drive from Turmi to Arbaminch on the way visit the most interesting and colorful weekly (Dimeka or Key-Afer) market which is attended by the Hammer, Tsemai, Benna, and the Ari people. O/N -Hotel.

• Day 6 : Arba Minch- Hawassa

  Early in the morning drive up hill to Chencha to visit the Dorze tribal Village with the people's life style and their beehive shaped huts and continue drive after lunch to Hawassa. O/N -Hotel.

• Day 7 : Hawassa - Debre-zeit

  Drive to Debre-zeit on the way at Lake Langano, enjoy swimming as it is the only lake in the Ethiopian Rift valley which is free from bilharzias over night stay on remarkable Kuriftu Hotel. O/N -Hotel.

• Day 8 : Debre-zeit - Addis

  Drive back to Addis. Sightseeing tour of Addis to visit Ethiopian Orthodox Churches that includes:
  
  The Trinity Cathedral: -A beautiful church with a baroque style of European architecture which is unique to both Ethiopia and Africa and is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. Here you will find scripts of the imperial families, across the front of the church you will see statues done by a Greek sculpture of Matthew (from left to right) Mark, Luck, and John-the authors of the four Gospels. And inside of the church you will visit Stained glass window paintings from the Old and New Testament in the Bible and coffins of Emperor Haile Silassie-I and his wife; the founder of the church in 1941 in memory of the Ethiopian patriots who fought against the Italians. Next Be'ata Mariam Church:-lying to the south of the old Menelik Palace, it is also known as Menelik's Mausoleum, where you will visit the stone graves of Menelik II, Empress Tiytu-Menelik,s wife, Empress Zewditu-Menelik's daughters the founder of the church in 1911, and you also visit different wall paintings inside of the church. The mausoleum is made of grey stone surmounted by a large gilt crown with four small cupolas on each corner. Entoto St. Mary church: - where Emperor Menelik crowned Emperor in it the church itself built by Emperal Menelik II in 1882.Here you will also have a panoramic view of the city on the top of mount Entoto-3200 meters the highest peak of the city.
