Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Paro

  After arriving at Bhutan’s only international airport, Legpai team will receive guest(s) and assist in completing airport formalities. After that drive towards hotel at Paro (2200m altitude) for overnight stay.

  • Meals & Drinks : Dinner

• Day 2 : Dochu La

  Start early at 7:30am towards Thimphu (2300m altitude). 2 km away from the Bhutan’s capital, turn west upward to climb Dochu la Pass (3150m altitude). Later enjoy continue descends till Punakha (1310m altitude). Visit magnificent Punakha Dzong in early evening. Overnight stay at Punakha.
  Ride distance 118 km with 1.57 km of ascend and 2.69 km of descend.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

• Day 3 : Phobjikha Valley(2900m altitude)

  One of the most challenging biking days stretch ahead. Start at 8:00am to climb towards Black Mountains that lead us to Gantey and Phobjikha Valley, one of the winter homes of the Himalayan black-necked crane. Overnight stay in Gantey.
  Ride distance 75 km with 2.75 km of ascend and 1.12 km of descend.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

• Day 4 : Tongsa(2200m altitude)

  Start at 8:00am towards Trongsa by passing Pele la Pass (3351m altitude). After that enjoy fantastic descends on a twisting road through Fir forest broad leaf forest at Trongsa. Visit Trongsa Dzong in the afternoon and may even see local Bhutanese playing archery in front of the Dzong. Overnight stay at Trongsa.
  Ride distance 76 km with 1.09 km of ascend and 1.98 km of descend.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

• Day 5 : Bumthang(2650m altitude)

  Start at 8:30am to climb Yutong La Pass (3400m altitude) and then descends to Gaytse valley. later, make a short climb to Kiki la Pass Before reaching small town of Jakar. Overnight stay at Bumthang / Jakar.
  Ride distance 70 km with 1.92 km of ascend and 1.42 km of descend.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

• Day 6 : Wangthang La (3000m altitude)

  From Bumthang, Ura camping site is 77 km away. En route, cross Sherthang la Pass (3300m altitude) and then enjoy continue descends through pasture and farmed land of Ura valley till camping site at Wangthang la.
  Ride distance 77 km with 2.08 km of ascend and 1.16 km of descend.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

• Day 7 : Thumsing La (3800m altitude)

  Start early at 7:30am to climb Thumsing La Pass (3800m altitude), the last of the big climbs.
  Then enjoy beautiful descends till Lingmaythang and a final climb to Mongar. Overnight stay at Mongar (1600m altitude)
  Ride distance 109 km with 1.67 km of ascend and 3.49 km of descend.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

• Day 8 : Tashigang(1500m altitude)

  Start at 8:00am towards Trashigang by passing Kori la Pass (2450m altitude). The road later descends rapidly till Sheri Chu (river) and final climb to Trashigang town. Overnight stay at Trashigang.
  Ride distance 90 km with 1.88 km of ascend and 2.34 km of descend.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

• Day 9 : Wamrong (1200m altitude)

  Start at 8:00am to climb towards Kanglung and by passing through Khaling, which is famous for its weaving and handicraft. Stop at Khaling to visit weaving center and handicraft shop. After that continue riding to Wamrong. Overnight stay at Wamrong.
  Ride distance 78 km with 2.56 km of ascend and 1.43 km of descend.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

• Day 10 : Samdrup Jongkhar (450m altitude)

  Start at 9:00am towards Samdrup Jongkhar, the last of the trip. A long climb, with the road switching from left to right, across the spine of the ridge, leads to the high point at 2450m. After that enjoy continue descends till Samdrup Jongkar. Overnight stay at Samdrup Jongkhar.
  Ride distance 95 km with 1.34km of ascend and 3.42km of descend.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

• Day 11 : Guwahati

  Drive towards Guwahati to onwards destination.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast.

• 2 weeks prior to commencement of the tour program: 25% of the rates
• 1 week prior to commencement of the tour program: 40% of the rates
• After arrival in Bhutan: 100% of the rates.
25% cancellation fee on air ticket(s) will be deducted, if cancelled one week prior to scheduled flight date.
