Dalhousie - Dharamshala Trip Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi to Dalhousie (11-12 Hrs. Journey)

  Pickup from Delhi around 06:00AM and drive to Dalhousie in private cab. Reach Dalhousie in the evening and check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
• Day 2 : Explore Khajiar and Areas Around

  After breakfast and some leisure, we'll head to Khajjiar. Enjoy the serenity of the Khajjiar Lake. Khajjiar is often referred as “Mini Switzerland of India”. Enroute visit the Dainkund Peak, the highest peak in Dalhousie and popularly known as the singing hill. There is an Indian Air Force base at the peak of Dainkund and a left turn from there is the Pholani Devi Temple, which is the prime attraction. On the way back, we’ll visit the Satdhara Falls. The waterfall is set amidst hills and offers beautiful views of snow-covered mountains, surrounded by pine and Deodar trees. We’ll walk to this picturesque spot and then head towards Panchpula, which is only a few km away from here. Return to Dalhousie in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. Optional activities in Khajjiar – Paragliding services, Horse Riding, Zorbing, Rappelling, etc. (on your own).

• Day 3 : Head to Dharamshala (3-4 Hrs. Journey) - Explore Mcleodganj

  After breakfast, check out the hotel and we'll continue our journey to Dharamshala in private vehicle. Reach Dharamshala at around noon. Check-in at the hotel and have some rest. In afternoon, head to visit the town replete with Tibetan culture and the residence of his Holiness, The Dalai Lama. Set on a sightseeing tour of Dharamshala and first visit a quaint little town, Mcleodganj. At the start of Mcleodganj is a small bazaar filled with variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artefacts. Visit the Bhagsunath waterfalls the famous HPCA Cricket stadium. At the end of the spur lies the Namgyal Monastery thus the entire day at Dharamshala will be full of tranquility and solace perfect for a rejuvenating sojourn to the hills. Return to hotel in evening for dinner and overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Visit Palampur (1.5 Hrs. Journey - One Way)

  After breakfast, we'll head to visit the famous HPCA cricket stadium followed by Palampur – a green hill station in the Kangra Valley, surrounded on all sides by tea gardens and pine forests before they merge with Dhauladhar ranges. You can visit the Bundla stream, a lovely 2 km walk from Palampur, A wide chasm of more than 100 meters, and it swells up and rises madly in monsoons taking stones and boulders along with it. Later visit the Tea Garden, in evening return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys, Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 5 : Back to Delhi (11-12 Hrs. Journey)

  After breakfast, check out the hotel and we'll retrace our steps back to Delhi. Reach Delhi by late evening and here your trip will end on happy note. Continue your journey back to home.
