Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi to Dalhousie

  Board the Volvo from Delhi in the evening and head to Dalhousie. Overnight journey to Dalhousie.
• Day 2 : Arrive at Dalhousie - Explore Dalhousie

  Reach Dalhousie in the morning. Check-in at the hotel and have some rest. In afternoon after some leisure, head to visit the Satdhara Falls. The waterfall is set amidst hills and offers beautiful views of snow-covered mountains, surrounded by pine and Deodar trees. We’ll walk to this picturesque spot and then head towards Panchpula, which is only a few kilometers away from here. Visit Subhash ki Baoli and market area - collect some souvenirs if you want to. Return to hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
• Day 3 : Explore Khajjiar and Areas Around

  After breakfast and some leisure head to Khajjiar. Enjoy the serenity of the Khajjiar Lake. Khajjiar is often referred as “Mini Switzerland of India”. On the way back head to visit the Dainkund Peak, the highest peak in Dalhousie and popularly known as the singing hill. There is an Indian Air Force base at the peak of Dainkund and a left turn from there is the Pholani Devi Temple, which is the prime attraction. Now we’ll head to visit the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary - high altitude forest area located at an average elevation of 2,500 meters above sea level and offers stunning views of thick pine, deodar, and oak forests and a plethora of various fauna such as the Himalayan Black Bear, Pheasants, and Himalayan Black Marten. People normally prefer to walk up to Kalatop from Lakkarmandi (approx. 4 km from Kalatop) to take in the amazing views of the beautiful landscapes of Kalatop. This region is less explored compared to other area of Dalhousie, and activities like forest trailing, wildlife safari, trekking, etc. attracts the travelers. Return to hotel in evening for dinner and overnight stay. *Optional activities in Khajjiar – Paragliding services, Horse Riding, Zorbing, Rappelling, Rock Climbing and River Crossing (on your own).

  Wake up lazy morning. After breakfast. Return to Dalhousie in the evening where cab will drop you at Volvo bus stand. Board the evening Volvo back to Delhi. Overnight journey to Delhi.
