Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Drive from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) to Darjeeling (88 km/3 Hour

  Depending on your arrival; either at the NJP Railway Station or the Bagdogra Airport, you will be assisted with your transfer to the gorgeous hill station town Darjeeling. On arrival in the town, which is also known as the ‘Queen of Hills’, check in into a hotel and you can spend the rest of the day doing nothing, but enjoying the pristine beauty of Darjeeling from your hotel room; overnight stay will be at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

  Witnessing the miraculous sunrise views from the Tiger Hill (2,590 m) is the best way to start a day Darjeeling! Today morning, after you wake up early in the morning; around 03.00-04.00 a.m., you will be driven to the Tiger Hill. Reaching the top of the hill, feast on the astounding views of the rays of the rising sun painting the entire vicinity into golden orange and casts a magical spell on the spectators! While returning back to the hotel for breakfast, a visit to the sacred Ghoom Monastery and the enthralling Batista Loop will add an essence of spirituality and natural grandeur to your Darjeeling tour. Arriving the hotel, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and visit some of the most important landmarks of Darjeeling. To begin with the day tour, first visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, and get an insight of life and beauty in Darjjeeling. To note here, the latter remains closed on Thursdays! Following these two, you will be visiting the Tenzing Rock, have an outer view of the picturesque Chitrey Tea Garden, seek mental peace with a visit to the Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple. You will be concluding the day with a stroll around the Chowrasta and Mall Road, and sign up for an overnight stay in the hotel.

• Day 3 : Drive from Darjeeling to Kalimpong (57 km/3 Hours)

  After a fun filled and exciting day in Darjeeling, today morning, you will be driven to Kalimpong. The drive that will take you through the magnificent Lopchu Tea Garden, is truly an experience that will last forever in your minds! On your way through the tea garden, savour in the eccentric blend and flavour of Tea Peda (a local sweet) and refreshing fruit juice to keep yourself packed with energy. A visit to the Lover’s Meet Point, from where you can have a glimpse of the union of the enthralling Teesta and Rangit Rivers will surely steal all the attentions for the day! Later, arriving in Kalimpong, check in into a hotel and join an exciting sightseeing tour around the town. Visit the scenic Deolo Hill, Science City, Durbin Dara Hill, Jang Dong Palriffo Brang Monastery and the Pine View Cactus Nursery. The day in Kalimpong will come to an end with your overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 4 : Drive from Kalimpong to Gangtok (73 km/3 Hours)

  A delightful drive through the scenic trails of Kalimpong will take you to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. On your arrival in the city, you will be checked in into a hotel, where you can spend the day at total leisure. If you wish to, you can stroll around the hotel premises in the evening and have a look of Gangtok’s miraculous beauty; overnight stay in Gangtok.
• Day 5 : Tsomgo Lake Excursion (3,750 m) (3 Hours)

  Today morning, after having breakfast in the hotel, take an excursion to the stunning Tsomgo Lake. Located at an altitude of 3,750 m, this lake is one of the most beautiful high altitude lakes in the country and is also considered sacred by the locals. Spending some of the candid and pleasant moments beside the lake, pay a visit to the holy Baba Harbhajan Mandir (4,000 m) and get acquainted with the valorous tales about Major Harbhajan Singh, to whom, this temple is dedicated to. Completing this enthralling as well as exciting excursion, drive back to the hotel in Gangtok and spend overnight.
• Day 6 : Drive from Gangtok to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (130 km/4 Hours)

  Today will be last day of this memorable Darjeeling and Gangtok tour. After having breakfast in the hotel, you will be finally driven back either to the NJP Railway Station or to the Bagdogra Airport. Arriving at either of them, continue your journey back home with endless memories of this magnificent tour!
