Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Darjeeling

After arriving in New Jalpaiguri/Siliguri, our representative will meet you and transfer you to Darjeeling(90 kms/3 hours), check in at the hotel after arrival. Rest of the day at leisure, one can take a stroll in mall during afternoon and evening. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 2 : Darjeeling

Very early in the morning, we take you to Tiger Hill to catch a glimpse of sunrise over Khangchendzonga (Subject to clear weather conditions). Later in the day, we take you to some of the famous spots in Darjeeling such as HMI (Himalayan Mountaineering Institute), Zoological Gardens, Ghoom Monastery, Dhirdham Temple Rope way, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course, Tenzing and Gombu Rock. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 3 : Darjeeling

After breakfast, we will take you for a joy train ride in Toy Train(Sector-Darjeeling to Kurseong), the train ride would take you through some of the amazing landscapes and engineering marvels such as Batasia Loop, it would also take you through Ghoom which was once upon a time considered to be the highest Railway Station in the world before the Chinese took railway lines to Lhasa. On arrival in Kurseong Railway Station, our driver will meet you who has been accompanying you through out the trip and transfer you back to hotel in Darjeeling. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay and dinner in hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 4 : Darjeeling - Mirik - Darjeeling

After breakfast,we will take you for a full day excursion trip to Mirik(50 kms/2 hours). Being promoted as a New Hill Station, Mirik is a a small valley in Sing-lila hills region, about 50 Km. From both Siliguri and Darjeeling at an altitude of 1767 m. Weather is very pleasant here. The lake is the main attraction here and there is a 3.5 Km path around it and one can do boating here. Another attraction of Mirik is Pashupati Nagar in the border of Nepal. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.

Package valid only for Indian nationals. on-refundable booking fee of Rs.3000 required to confirm/ hold the booking. Air tickets and hotels are subject to availability. It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. The identification proofs accepted are Driving License, Voters Card, Passport, Ration Card. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in. Note-PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card. All transfers and sightseeing are as per the Itinerary/package and in case of Air Conditioned vehicles, It will be switched off in the hills. The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or a mattress as an extra bed. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. The standard check-in time is 1300hrs and the standard check-out time is 1000hrs. Any kind of personal expenses (Laundry, room service etc.) or optional tours/ extra meals are not inclusive in the package cost. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Arihant tours will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason. In case of non-availability of above mentioned hotels similar category hotel will be provided. Arihant tours reserves the right to change/modify or terminate the offer any time at its own discretion and without any prior notice.
