Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Kolkata

  Arrive Kolkata by International flight and meet the representative at the arrival hall and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Kolkata - Bagdogra (By Flight) - Darjeeling

  Morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight for Bagdogra. Upon arrival, drive to Darjeeling (approx. 75Kms / 04 hours), the "Queen of the hill stations", its name derived from "Dorje-Line" which means the place of "Dorje", the mystic thunderbolt. Covering a distance along the Teesta & then a vertical climb thru Tea Gardens, it is an experience of unforgettable beauty.
  
  Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Afternoon is free for leisure walks or explore the local market. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling - Tumsong Tea Estate

  Today after breakfast, we will visit the Tumsong Tea Estate, located 25kms from the city. It was established in 1867 and was planted keeping the sentiments of the indigenous people in mind. It is planted around the goddess Tamsa Devi temple on a steep slope rising from 2,700 feet to 5,500 feet. Here you will get amazed with scenic view as the Tumsong estate will be offering a fantastic view of surrounding Kanchenjunga which is the third highest mountain peak in the world. The estate is also known as the Happy Hearts, being given the easy access to local to reach and worship the deities which are present here and create the atmosphere in harmony.
  
  Upon arrival check in to the Tumson Bungalow. Further, we will visit the Tea garden and later witness tea processing at the factory. Lunch will be organized at Tumsong Main Bungalow. After lunch we will participate in a tea presentation by a tea expert followed by a tea tasting session. Overnight at the Bungalow.

• Day 4 : Tumsong Tea Estate - Darjeeling

  Today we will enjoy walk in the tea garden. Later return to the Bungalow for breakfast. Post breakfast leave for Happy Valley Tea Estate. It is located in the picturesque hillside with an altitude of 6,300 feet. The altitude itself is a plus point for the happy valley tea estate as most of the time the valley is in remain under cover of mountain mist which creates a unique effect on the tea plantation and offer a unique flavour to its tea. The tea garden is famous for the supreme quality of tea in Darjeeling.
  
  Upon arrival enjoy walking through the tea garden on the gentle hill slope and have a glimpse of the tea processing. Visit to the factory and see the entire tea production process. Visit the hall where plucked tea are kept on elevated wooden beds for weathering, and also visit the glass covered area from where you can watch the remaining process of making take place. We will also get know about the different qualities of tea. The best quality comes with a single bud with two leaves; the next quality has one bud and three leaves and so on. Late afternoon return to Darjeeling and evening is free for leisure walks or explore the local market. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Darjeeling

  Today very early in the morning around 3.30am will drive to visit the Tiger hill (it is the sunrise point over Mt. Khangchendzonga), the glimpse of sunrise from here will give you a different charm. Further we will return to city and on the way back we will visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop.
  
  Post breakfast we will go on sightseeing tour of Darjeeling which includes Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday) and various Tea estate. Late afternoon is free for leisure walks or explore the local market. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 6 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra - Kolkata (By Flight)

  Morning after breakfast drive directly to Bagdogra airport (approx. 75Kms / 03 ½ hours) to board flight for Kolkata. Upon arrival, rest of the day is free to explore the city or for individual activities.
  
  Late night transfer to the airport for your departure flight for onward destination.
