• Day 1 : Arrive Bagdogra - Gangtok (123 km / approx. 4 hours 23 minutes drive) In the Lap of Himalayas

Welcoming you for "In the lap of Himalayas" package, you will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok Gangtok the capital of Sikkim Suits all from tranquillity to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals & festivals at a height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India. It is one of the most beautiful town with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies Nearly 135 kilometres 4 - 5 hours drive and Check into hotel. Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping centre - Over Night stay at Gangtok.

• Day 2 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Full Day)

  After breakfast day excursion to the oval-shaped change lake /Tsomgo Lake (40 km from Gangtok departure in the morning) - situated at a height of 3,780 mt. with an average depth of 50 ft and home to the Brahminy duck and several migratory birds. On the way stop at Kyongnosla, The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Travel to Baba Mandir another 17 km beyond Tsongo lake. Return to Gangtok. Overnight halt at Gangtok Hotel. *(Optional Visit Nathu La Pass, not included in the package, it's the cost per cab 4000)

  After breakfast we proceed or local 10 point sightseeing. The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

  After a leisurely breakfast, we proceed to Darjeeling at a height of 2123 meters / 70001 feet lies the land of breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens with spectacular views of the Mount Everest is the Queen of the hills, It is also home to the famous World Heritage train (UNESCO) The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) and the famous Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park - Check into hotel Evening free to roam around Mall or local Shopping centre - Over Night stay at Darjeeling.

• Day 5 : Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

  Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop. • Day 6 : Darjeeling to Siliguri via Mirik (72km / approx. 4 hours 46 minutes drive)

  After breakfast transfer to Siliguri - Nearly 135 kilometres 4 - 5 hours drive. On the way, we stop to enjoy the beautiful Mirik. Guest is advised to start early and not to rush - Check in at Hotel and spend the day in leisure. End Of Tour Darjeeling and Sikkim tour package.
