Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdogra.

  You are greeted on arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport by GATEWAY Holidays representative and thereafter drive to Gangtok, the Capital city of Sikkim, it is one of the most beautiful Cosmopolitan Hill Stations, which offers tourists all kind of modern amenities. Here we find many varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and Butterflies. This place is the land of tranquility to Adventure, Monastery, Mystic Rituals & Festivals, at an elevation of 1670 Meters / 5480 Feet and is the most visited spot of India. On arrival, check in and overnight at Hotel. O/N : Gangtok.

• Day 2 : Gangtok.

  Wake up rejuvenated and embark for excursion to Tshangu Lake - situated at a height of 12400Feet / 3780 Meters, is about 43 KMs, 3 hours’ drive one way, with an average depth of 50 feet. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. (In case of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided). After exploring the entire place, retire to the hotel for an overnight stay. O/N : Gangtok.

• Day 3 : Gangtok – Kalimpong.

  After a hearty breakfast, start your half day sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom & Flower Show, there after transfer to Kalimpong. Kalimpong is a hill station located on an elevation of 3937 Feet / 1200 Meters. On arrival, check in & over night at Hotel. O/N : Kalimpong.

• Day 4 : Kalimpong – Darjeeling.

  Enjoy a beautiful morning in the lap of nature, after breakfast visit Dello Hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills. After exploring the entire place, transfer to Darjeeling. Darjeeling is located in the Lesser Himalaya at an average elevation of 7380 Feet / 2250 Meters, and is around 70 KMs, 03 to 04 Hours journey time. On arrival overnight stay at Hotel. O/N : Darjeeling.

• Day 5 : Darjeeling.

  Wake up rejuvenated and early in the morning around 4 AM, embark on a sightseeing tour to Tiger Hills (on an elevation of 8364 Feet / 2550 Meters) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride, Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. After exploring the entire place, retire to the hotel for an overnight stay. O/N : Darjeeling.

  • Hotspots : Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park
  • Themes : Mountaineering

• Day 6 : Darjeeling. - NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport.

  After breakfast proceed to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport (around 100 KMs / 03 to 04 Hours journey), for your onward journey.
