Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Darjeeling (98 kms / 4 hrs)

  On arrival at Bagdogra airport or Siliguri (NJP) railway station meet our representative, who will assist you to board your vehicle to Darjeeling & give you briefing about your tour. After leaving Siliguri we drive along the NH 31A through the dense forests Mahananda Wild Life Sanctuary, the natural play ground of wild elephant, tiger and deer. Sevok comes next with its promises for the gorgeous view of Tista river as it comes out from the deep gorge of the Himalayas and spreads itself in the vast plains on North Bengal. From Tista Bazaar follows the winding roads and a picturesque drive through Himalayan hills to Darjeeling. Check into hotel and get refreshed for a free leisure evening. 
• Day 2 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

  Early Morning (at 4.00 am) drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular Sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs). Overnight stay will be at Darjeeling.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling - Gangtok (98 Kms / 4 hrs)

  Today after breakfast city tour of Darjeeling and afternoon proceed for Gangtok (5500ft. /98 kms /4 hours), the capital city of Sikkim state (Sikkim is the 23rd.state of India) which also known as most peaceful & beautiful state in India. On arrival at Gangtok check in into your hotel, overnight stay at Gangtok. 
• Day 4 : Excursion – Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir.

  After breakfast drive for a memorable excursion tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. /39 km), one of the highest altitudes Himalayan Lake. This beautiful oval shape lake almost 1 km long with its average depth 50 ft is situated in east Sikkim Himalaya. From here we will drive further 15 km to Baba Mandir. One can further drive to Nathula pass (12,000ft.) towards china border depending upon the accessibility of the route. We will back to Gangtok by late afternoon. Evening is free for roaming around M.G Marg, the popular Shopping area in Gangtok. 
• Day 5 : Gangtok to Lachen (120 kms./5 hrs./ Alt.- 8,500 ft.)

  After an early breakfast we will proceed to Lachen. The route meanders through small villages with valleys upto forest grove of Kabi Langchuk. Shinghik comes next with its promises of one of the most glorious views of Kunchanjungha. Situated at an altitude of over 4000ft Singhik offers a desired break to the travelers on the way to Lachen . We will have our lunch on the way. Visit Chungthang- the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachun Chu (river) and Vimnala falls water falls on your way to Lachen. Reach Lachung in the late afternoon. Lachen is also a base for the popular Green Lake

• Day 6 : Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake (40 kms each side) – Lachung (44 kms/2 hrs) 

  After breakfast at the hotel, drive through snow capped mountains and enjoy some stunning scenery as you arrive at the Gurudongmar Lake – the most sacred lake in North Sikkim. Please note that only Indian nationals are allowed to visit this place. Remember the lake is situated at the highest altitude (17,000 Ft) and this may cause breathing problem, so be prepare and do not exert and take it easy. Come back to hotel, after taking refreshment check out from the hotel on time and leave for Lachung. Overnight stay in Lachung. 
• Day 7 : Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion (21 kms each side) – Gangtok (118 kms/6 hrs) 

  After taking morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Yumthang Valley which is known as valley of flowers in north Sikkim. On the way back to valley do not forget to visit hot spring which is considered to have medicinal properties. Come back to hotel and leave for Gangtok, overnight stay arrangement will be in Gangtok.

• Day 8 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing - Pelling (120 kms / 5 hrs)

  In the morning visit Rumtek Monastery/ Jhakri Falls, Institute of Tibetology, Enchay Monastery, Dodurl Chorten. After lunch drive to Pelling (7,000 ft. /134 km/6 hours) .The first phase of the journey rolls along the picturesque valley of River Tista till Melli and then it runs along the beautiful valley of Rangit till Legship. Take a refreshing break at the view point near Melli and watch the magnificent bird eye view of the confluence of both the rivers. From Legship the road takes a steep turn through Geyzing. The view of the entire surrounding widens as you proceed towards Pelling through the clouds and forests.. Pelling is situated at an altitude of 2072 meters / 6800 feet in west Sikkim is famous for its spectacular view of eastern Himalayan range i.e Khangchendzonga, Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Zopuno, Shimbho, Narsing, Sinolchu. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 9 : Pelling Sightseeing

  Pelling Local sightseeing (Full Day) - After breakfast at hotel – Drive for Full Day Sight Seeing. The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring. Places of visit are Rimbi water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kechopalri Lake, it is one of the holy Buddhist lake and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true - Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves, Kechopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga water Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse ruins, the scenic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something to be cherished – Back to hotel – Evening free to roam around the helipad or Shopping center - Over Night stay at Pelling.

• Day 10 : Pelling to Siliguri/Bagdogra (145 km. / approx 6 hrs) 

  After completing a farewell party drive back to Siliguri (NJP)/ Bagdogra (IXB) via same route for your onward journey with happy memories to cherish .
