Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Reach Darjeeling

  Arrival at NJP at transfer from NJP to Darjeeling. Night stay in DARJEELING.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling sightseeing

  Darjeeling sightseeing.Early Morning (at 04.00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds third highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop, Mirik Lake, Pasupati market entry point in Indian side,Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Temple. Evening free (walking tour of mall - suggested). Night stay in DARJEELING

  • Themes : Mountaineering

• Day 3 : Transfer to Gangtok

  Darjeeling to Gangtok. Night stay in GANGTOK

• Day 4 : Gangtok Sightseeing

  Changu Lake and Baba Mandir. Night stay in GANGTOK

• Day 5 : Gangtok sightseeing

  Gangtok sightseeing. Excursion trip of Tsomgo Lake from Gangtok city. Tsomgo Lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Rumtek Monastery, Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday), Dro-dul-Chorten, Flower Exhibition centre, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom.
