Darjeeling Day hike to Tonglu, A small village nestled between Maneybhanjyang and Sandakphu in Darjeeling District, Tonglu can perfectly satisfy all your trekking fantasies, while you explore the soul of the mountains. Tonglu stands proudly at an altitude of 3036 m and is one of the highest peaks of the Singalila Ridge. The small settlement inside the Singalila National Park encloses you with a warm feeling while you enjoy the majestic view of the snow covered peaks.
Tonglu promises a delightful treat of Trek through the forests in the Eastern Himalayas with a tranquil panoramic view of the snow-covered peaks such as the Kanchenjunga, Pandim and Makalu, finally embracing you with a quaint trekkers’ hut with a pacific ambience.
Tonglu usually serves as a night halt for the trekkers on their way to Sandakphu, and the trekkers’ hut there embeds within itself tons of surprises for the trekkers.
