• Day 1 : Pick up from NJP / IXB

  Arrival at railway station / airport and our representative will pick up and transfer to Lepcha jagat. Check in at homestay and spend a leisurely evening.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling Local sightseenAnd Transfer to Maneybhanjyang

  The sparkling sunrise over Kanchendzonga and the ‘Queen of Hills’ will fascinate your family on the second day of your Darjeeling tourpackage.Wake up at dawn and head for Tiger Hill to watch the world’s third highest peak – the Kanchendzonga, turn from pink to gold as the sun rises over the mountain range. While returning ,
  stop by at the 135-year-old Ghoom Monastery & the Batasia Loop War Memorial, built in the memory of martyred Gorkha soldiers. Enjoy a cup of piping hot Darjeeling tea at one of the tea stalls. Come back to your hotel for breakfast and rest for a while.
  Later, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Thursday closed). Take your kids to visit the Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Thursday closed) and the Tibetan Refugee Centre (Sunday closed) for an amazing experience.
  Rummage through souvenirs at the market in Mall Road and buy lovely trinkets.
  Transfer to Maneybhanjyang ,over night stay in Maneybhanjyang.

• Day 3 : Manebhanjang to Tumling.

  Devor A Wholesome Breakfast proceed to Tumling by 01 Non AC Land Rover 13 kms/1. 5 hrs, en route coverningChitre, is a small village about 3 kms from Manebhanjan located at an altitude of 8, 340 ft. The route up to Chitre passes through pine, fir, birch forests and bamboo glades. There is an old Buddhist Monastery at Chitrey, You will pass by the monastery, visit Lamaydhura, Lamaydhura is a hamlet inhabited only by five Tibetan families. This is another small village located at the border of India and Nepal, and about 3 kms from Lamaydhura, visit Meghma is at an altitude of 9, 514 ft. There is a monastery at the entrance of Meghma. From Meghma the gravel road bifurcates. The one on the right goes towards Tonglu 2 kms which is part of India. The route on the left from Meghma goes to another settlement known as Tumling 4kms which is part of Nepal. Tumling, there is a lovely view point which is more like an open field. From the edge of this area you get magnificent views of the Kanchenjunga snow peaks. Tumling actually is part of Nepal although there is no restriction to visit the place for Indians or even foreigners with Indian visa. In fact the border between India and Nepal in this part is quite blurred and it's kind of a free way for all. You won't know when you are crossing the border. Dinner will be served at hotel, overnight at Tumling 9, 600 ft.

• Day 4 : Tumling – Sandakphu 19 kms/2. 5 hrs

  Early morning visit Tonglu,Tonglu is actually one of the peaks of Singalila range and located at an altitude of 10, 130ft. Earlier in 1800s this place was part of Sikkim and known as Mount Tonglo. This was during the time when Sir Joseph Hooker came here and other places around on expeditions to discover the plantations of the area. Back to hotel at Tumling , check out and proceed to Sandakphu, en route visit Gairibas 8, 600 ft. and Kalapokhri 10, 400 ft. , Kalapokhri is so named because of a pond or a water tank filled with black water. From Kalipokhri, the route gradually ascends up to Bikheybhanjang which is located 2 kms away. On the way you will cross a place called Chowri Chowk there is no signboard though where you can take a break for couple of minutes. There is nothing much at BikheyBhanjan. This motorable route Last 4 kms from Bikheybhanjyang to Sandakphu is very steep and narrow, And now the final destination and the climax. You could see the Sandakphu Peak from Kalipokhri itself. From Bikhheybhanjang the climb up to Sandakphu is the steepest. Sandakphu is the place from where you get a 180 degree panoramic vista of some of the highest and most beautiful peaks of the world, right from Nepal all the way up to Arunachal. Some of the greatest peaks include the Mt Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Chomolhari, Pandim, Three Sisters, Kumbhakarnaetc, overnight at Sandakphu 11, 929 ft.

  Drive down to Maneybhanjyang by Non AC Land Rover 33 kms/4 hrs, Back to NJP Railway Station/Siliguri by Non AC Bolero/similar 88 kms/3. 5 hrs.
