Chitwan wildlife safari tour will take you to one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal i.e. Chitwan National Park. This park is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is located in the lowland of Terai Region. It is the habitat for 50 species of flora and 700 species of wild fauna. Each year a large number of domestic and foreign tourists who want to see the natural wildlife and do jungle activities, like jeep safaris, bird watching, canoe riding, learning about Tharu culture, and more visit this park. Among all national park in Nepal this one has the easiet accessibility among the other national parks.
Day 01: Kathmandu - Chitwan

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kathmandu - Chitwan

  You can reach Chitwan either by flight or bus (your choice). Around 6 am in the morning, you will be picked by our representative from your hotel and transfer you to the airport/tourist bus park via private vehicle. From this point your tour will be commenced. Then you will take a 5-hour scenic drive to Chitwan, Sauraha if you travelling by bus, along the banks of the Trishuli and Narayani rivers. When you reach Chitwan Bus Park you will be greeted and escorted to your lodge to check-in and have a short briefing about the lodge, the facilities and programs of the day. After a buffet lunch, you will have a village tour in the Tharu community. There if you are interested you can learn about their lifestyle and culture. Then, you will visit the National Park Visitor's Center where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and its wildlife. Then at around 7 pm you can choose between Tharu cultural dance presentation by the local villagers (which you can also participate in) or a slide show presentation about Chitwan.
• Day 2 : Chitwan Sight - seeing

  In the morning, you will get the wakeup call and breakfast will be served at around 6:30 am. After the quick breakfast, you will proceed to go bird watching and canoe riding along the Rapti River. Here you will observe two rare species of crocodiles - the Marsh Mugger and Gharial. After that, you will walk through jungle where you can witness species of flora and fauna. Lunch will be served at around 1 pm and will be followed by jeep safari. Jeep safari will provide you with an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceroses, wild boars, monkeys, leopards, sloths and even Bengal tigers (if you are lucky). You may also catch the glimpse of many other smaller mammals that have made the Chitwan National Park their natural habitat. Then we will visit the Tharu Cultural Museum. There you can learn about the tools that are used by tharu community and their culture. The day will be over with buffet dinner served at 8 pm.
• Day 3 : Back to Kathmandu

  After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the bus park to drive back to Kathmandu. Here your journey will end as you are transferred back to your Hotel.
