IMPORTANT Being a remote location, the tourism infrastructures in these islands are not very developed, hence do not expect or compare it with the standards of other developed destinations. Hotels in these islands are operating with minimum resources and with very high operational costs. All electricity is provided through diesel generators. Hence the rooms and facilities are not at par with metro cities. We are committed to provide you the best of services within the limited available resources. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES Visit to Andaman Islands is incomplete without exploring the amazing underwater sea life by Scuba Diving, Sea Walk, Snorkeling, Glass bottom boat or the semi submarine ride. Honeymooners should not miss the romantic dinner cruise. Fishing enthusiast must experience the Caiman fishing charters. The latest addition is Para Sailing in Corbyn’s cove beach. Discover Andaman has tied up with different service providers for the best rates and a convenient booking process for these activities for our guests. It is highly recommended that you book the activities along with the package for the best pre-booking rates and avoid any last moment disappointment of standing in long queues or missing on your favorite activity. Please note that all the activities have a maximum guest limit and due to large number of tourist arrivals bookings are closed days in advance. VEHICLE We provide exclusive Ertiga/Scorpio/ Xylo/ Taveraor similar vehicles for all our guests. (Unless mentioned specifically). The vehicles are strictly for point to point transfers and not at disposal. MUST CARRY T-shirts, shorts, swimming costume, slippers, Sunscreen, towel and changing clothes while visiting beaches & for activities like scuba diving & sea walk. Regular medication, sufficient cash (ATMs are satellite linked & may not work in case of link failure, especially in Havelock & Neil). Photo ID proof of all travellers.Age proof of children.Passport & restricted area permit for foreign nationals. MOBILE AND INTERNET Most hotels don’t have WIFI in rooms. Only BSNL, Airtel& Vodafone have their own mobile coverage in most islands. Only BSNL has 3G service in Port Blair. Internet is very slow in these islands.Hence it is advised that you leave behind your cyber world and soak into the nature during your stay here in Andamans. Day 1 : Arrive to the Emerald Islands
You will be received at the airport by our guest executive/driver and escorted to your hotel. After check in, your day tour would start with a visit to the historic national memorial Cellular Jail also known as kaalapaani. Later in the day visit Corbyn‟s cove beach. In the evening witness the Sound and Light show at the historic Cellular Jail which gives you an one-on-one experience of the history of the jail and the sacrifice of its inmates for freedom movement.
Note:Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and public holidays. In case you land on Monday, the itinerary will be suitably amended to cover this attraction on another day.
Day 2 : Visit North Bay Island (Coral island) & Ross Island
In the morning reach water sports complex to board the boat for North Bay. It is a coral island 20 mins by a shared speed boat from Port Blair. The beach with its fringing coral reef (a coral formation directly attached to the shore) is the best for Scuba Diving & Sea Walking. The corals at North Bay are spread over a large area and home to variety of fishes. This is a perfect getaway for the adventure seekers. Optional activities in coral island: Scuba Diving, Sea Walk, Submarine ride, Snorkeling, Glass bottom boat ride etc. (It is advised to pre-book these activities for discounted rates and save time). To know more about these activitiesclick here. Ross Island Visit the Ross island, once a British colony and also the capital of Andaman. This island hosts the remains of the colonial rule and is presently looked after by the Indian Navy. There is a museum named “Smritika” which depicts the history of the island. Also present are the peacocks & hundreds of friendly deers roaming around freely.
Note:Entry fee of Rs.30 per person is directly payable.
Day 3 : Havelock Island, Radhanagar Beach (No.1 beach in Asia)
Board the early morning boat/cruise for Havelock. Cruise in the Andaman Sea to reach Havelock islands. Our tour executive will receive you at the jetty and take you to Radhanagar beach. Spend your day amidst the white sand and the waves. This beach has been rated the best beach in Asia. Do not forget to take a long walk on the coast line, between the tall standing trees.
Note:Do not forget to collect your packed breakfast and carry your ID cards, beach wear & cash (ATMs are not reliable). Report to ferry point 1 hr prior to departure.
Day 4 : Elephant Beach
Once home to the wild elephants, the Hathidera beach (as it is called by the locals) is a 20 minutes ride by a shared high speed boat. The calm blue shallow water is just perfect for beginner snorkelers and that is why we take you for one complimentary session of snorkeling with kit and guide. There are other optional water sports facilities on direct payment like jetski, banana ride etc. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees & white sand. Ride the waves back to Havelock.
Note:In case of rough sea conditions if trip to Elephant beach is not permitted, alternate tour of Light house shall be conducted. Complimentary: One session of snorkeling with guide and snorkeling kit.
Day 5 : Neil Island
Neil Island is famous for its lush green forest and sandy beaches. Neil provides an ideal holiday for eco-friendly tourists, who can feel the serenity of village life here. The beaches at Lakshmanpur, Bharatpur, Sitapur and Natural bridge formation on the sea shore are fascinating. These untouched beaches let you feel the aroma and eternal peace. Ideal for honeymoon couples and families wanting to spend some private time away from the city crowd.
Note:There is no ATM facility in Neil. Carry sufficient cash with you. There are no porters, carry minimum luggage with you.
Day 6 : Return to Port Blair, Visit Local Museums & Do Some Shopping
Return to Port Blair by morning ferry. Check in to your hotel. After lunch visit Anthropological museum maintained and managed by ASI (Anthropological Survey of India), it is an exquisite small museum showcasing life style of the aborigines of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Visit Sagarika emporium or some local handicraft shops to pick some wood or shell craft as a souvenir for your dear ones back home.
Day 7 : Baratang Island Through Jarawa Reserve and Limestone Caves
Wake up early morning for your day trip to Baratang Island. Take your packed breakfast along and start your journey through the dense forest (110 kms/4.5 hours’ drive) crossing of the protected Jarawareserveto reach Baratang. Ride the speed boats through the mangroves to the magnificent Lime Stone Caves.
Note: Do not take photographs or stop the vehicle to interact with the Jarawas.Guests violating the tribal reserve rules are liable to be prosecuted. Visiting Lime Stone caves requires walking for aprox 20 mins. Not recommended for elders and infants.
Day 8 : Diglipur, Ross and Smith Islands
Ross and smith islands are the main attractions of Diglipur. Once you reach there after a 20 mins speed boat ride from Aerial Bay jetty, you will surely be lost in the bountiful beauty of this place. These are two different islands joined by a silky sand bar which goes inside the sea at times of high tide and surfaces up again during low tide. You can sit back on the beach chairs and observe the crystal clear water change its colour according to the depth of the sea.
Note:Carry your ID cards to obtain the forest permits. There is no shop in the island, carry your water and light snacks etc.
Day 9 : Return from Diglipur
Return to Port Blair via Rangat and Baratang. On the way visit Amkunj beach and ‘DhaniNallah’. There is a wooden Mangrove walkway passing through creeks and Mangrove trees that gives a unique opportunity of observing Mangrove flora very closely. The 713 meter walkway has several resting huts and finally terminates in a beautiful beach. This place is also the nesting ground for various species of sea turtles. Drive back to Port Blair by evening.
Note:Diglipur tour includes visit to Dhaninallah walk way, Morris derra&Amkunj beach. Deviation from the ATR route is not allowed. Kindly adhere to the timings.
Day 10 : Mount Harriet
Cross the sea from Chatham in a vehicle ferry to reach Bambooflat and 20 more minutes up the hill is Mount Harriet, the highest peak in South Andaman (365 metres). The hill is rich of flora and fauna. There is a viewpoint at the peak from where you can see the Port Blair city, Ross Island and the Havelock Island. There is a trekking track through the forest full of endemic birds, animals and butterflies.
Note:On the way you can see the view of a 20 rupee note.
Day 11 : Chidiyatapu Sunset
Chidiyatapu as the name suggests is a bird watchers paradise. The road to this place passes through a dense forest and the chirping sounds of the birds throughout the journey gives you a firsthand feel of the mother nature. MundaPahad beach is ideal for viewing the breathtaking sunset. Don’t miss out the special benches made of the local tree stems. The clouds here change landscapes every minute and the sun setting in the sea is a treat to your eyes.
Note:Do try the special tea and pakodi sold in the local stalls. You may visit the forest guest house for some sunset clicks.
Day 12 : Full Day Port Blair City Tour
Visit the Chatham Saw mill, once the biggest saw mill in Asia. Here you can witness the process of sawing huge logs into wood. Visit the Naval Samudrika museum which basically depicts the ocean life in and around Andaman and the Anthropological museum showcasing the lifestyle of the aborigines of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Visit some local handicraft shops to pick some wood or shell craft as a souvenir for your dear ones back home.
Day 13 : Jolly Buoy Island/Red Skin Island
Jollybouy is the main attraction of Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park at Wandoor. It is an uninhibited island rich of coral reefs. The journey from Wandoor jetty is approx. 30 mins by boat. A session of glass bottom boat ride is complimentary for coral viewing. You can hire the boat men for snorkeling and additional round in the glass bottom boat. It is a strict no plastic zone and nothing is available in the island. Avoid going deep in the water unless you are an expert swimmer.
Note:Plastic bottles are not permitted in the island. You can take the Milton flasks available against a security deposit at the jetty to carry water. Do not carry poly bags.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If You Cancel Your Holiday Youmay cancel your travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The applicable cancellation charges are as per the published cancellation policy below: Cancellation charges per person Prior to 45 days or more: No charge at all. Between 44-31 days of departure: 30% of tour cost Between 30-11 days of departure: 50% of tour cost 10 days to date of departure: 70%of tour cost The above may vary based on any specific cancellation charges as charged by the third party service provider. Terms & Conditions (Please read the terms and conditions carefully before confirmation) Peak Season Surcharge: Peak season surcharge charged by the hotels and cruise providers from 15 Dec to 15 Jan will be charged extra. Any mandatory gala dinner charges by hotels for Christmas or New Year Eve has to be paid extra. Hotels once confirmed cannot be changed. Guests are requested to check the reviews, pictures and hotel websites before confirmation and advise any change before booking. Hotels permit only 3 people in a room. (Children below 5 yrs are complimentary). For an extra Adult / Child extramattress shall be provided.Children above5 yrs shall be charged full. The request for an adjacent or an adjoining room will be on subject to availability. The checkout time of the hotel is 8 am, stay beyond the checkout time is purely at the discretion of the hotels. (There may be a time gap between check out and ferry timings in Havelock, guests are advised to leave their luggage in the hotel and venture out for some optional activity till the ferry timing).For early check in and late check out the payment is to be settled directly by the guest. Numbers of meals are always corresponding to the number of nights booked. Breakfast is not provided on the day of arrival.Cost of additional services availed by the guest which are not part of our package inclusions (eg. Spa, Bar, Scuba diving etc) are to be settled directly at the hotel or with the concerned vendor. Suggested hotels are subject to availability at the time of advance payment. In case the same is not available, then a similar category hotel will be provided. Hotel once finalized cannot be changed. Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of nights in each destination and without compromising any services. Ferry timings are subject to change at the government's discretion, and we assume no liability for disruption in the tour owing todelay in reporting to the ferry point, climatic conditions or any such events beyond our control. Although we will do our best to implement your itinerary to the fullest and provide you with commensurate back-up options, the cost of the same will need to be borne by the guest. The tour guide reserves the rights to make changes / detour or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, road blockage or security reason. The vehicle provided is for point to point transfers only and is not at disposal. Guests are requested to follow the timings in the program. Dinner/Shopping trips will be charged Rs.500 extra. Andaman is a very peaceful place and the people here are very polite. Rude and objectionable language with staff and driver is considered offensive. For any clarification during your tour please contact the tour manager. It is mandatory to carry the age proof of children and infant (below 02yrs) along with other travel documents. Child without age proof shall be considered for an adult cost.
