Best undertaken during June to October, the Delhi - Manali - Leh - Pangong journey will take you to from the foothills of the Himalayas to second highest motorable pass in the world, and always alongside the most beautiful and dramatic scenery in the world.

Day 1 : Delhi
Arrival in Delhi, pick up from Airport/Rly/Bus Station and transfer to hotel. Delhi, the capital city of India, is a historic and an important political place. A day sightseeing could take you to old palaces, many famous temples, old city and a glimpse of the vibrant lifestyle that speaks of a dynamic society. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2 : Manali
Early morning flight or drive to Manali, distance 600kms and travel time - 14 hours. The view along the route is scenic foothills and valleys of the western Himalaya peppered by small waterfalls. Overnight in Manali.
Day 3 : Manali
Early morning drive from Manali (2050m) to Jispa (3600m) via the steep, winding road along the NH21 bordered by streams and green grasslands. The journey covers 140kms and could take about 8hrs. By mid morning we will reach the Rohtang Pass (3978m), the deep gorge of the Lahaul Valley divided by the Chandra river. On the way to Keylong we will stop by the Sisu Waterfalls to stretch our legs and admire carpets of wildflowers. Onwards we will reach the confluence of the ChandraBaga River, which also offers a stunning mountain view. Onwards to Keylong, headquarter of the Lahaul Valley. We will do a side visit to Jispa Monastery, where a one finds collective remains of the sacrificed wild animals. Overnight stay in Jispa.
Day 4 : Sarchu
Early morning start from Jispa to Sarchu (4200m) via Darcha, the gateway to Zanskar Valley. By early afternoon we will reach Baralachala Pass (4800m) then Keylong Sarai where the unique land formations never fail to impress. Onwards, we reach the valley of Sarchu, a small trek around area is rewarding. Overnight in Sarchu.
Day 5 : Leh
Sarchu to Leh (3600m)via Gata Loops, Nukeela Pass (4600m), Lachungla Pass (4900m) and Pang, one of the oldest land mass in the world being once a part of the Pangea. From here is a plain, aptly called More, spanning 50 kms, is in itself an oddity in the mountainous terrain at an elevation of 4700m. We will reach Tangla- la Pass (5350m), the second highest motor-able road pass in the world at about mid-afternoon. We will be in Leh by evening. Over night stay in hotel.
Day 6 : Leh
The day will be devoted to sightseeing around Leh, visiting the Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery and Hemis Monastery, the biggest monastery in the Laddakh. The Hemis festival is in the month of July every year and is a big crowd drawer. The Stok Palace, is the present residence of the royal family. Overnight in Leh.
Day 7 : Leh
The day is devoted to a drive from Leh to Khardungla Pass (5600m), the highest motorable pass in the world. It is also the gateway to Nubra Valley and offers a spectacular view of Trans Himalaya and the Karakorum ranges. Overnight in Leh.
Day 8 : Leh
Leh-Pangong-Leh. The Pangong Lake, 140kms from Leh is the longest lake in the Himalaya, and 70% of the area belongs to China. The lake is nearly magical in its beauty, nestled at the base of the mountains and adorned by blue skies. The stones in the river bed, formed eons ago, give a multi-colored reflection. Overnight in Leh.
Day 9 : Leh
Leh to Delhi by flight, enjoy the flight on the clouds and high Himalaya.
