Day 1 : DELHI ARRIVAL
Arrive Delhi.
Meeting assistance upon arrival, further transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 : DELHI
Breakfast in the hotel.
Later proceed for Old and New Delhi sightseeing tour.
A direct consequence of Delhi's rich history is its magnificent monuments. Visit Lal Quila (drive past only) and Jama Masjid.
Lal Quila which was built by great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan is surrounded by a wall of about 2.4 Kilometers in circumference and is built of Red Sandstone. On the other hand Jama Masjid is yet another architectural gift given by Shah Jahan. It is one of the largest mosques in India. Visit Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandi Memorial).
Afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi. Visit the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted even after 1500 years. Visit the mausoleum of emperor Humayun – a forerunner of the Visit the mausoleum of emperor Humayun – a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture a. Drive past the India Gate (war memorial dedicated to the lives of laid down by the Indian soldiers), the president's residence - formerly the Viceroy's Palace, parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, - an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture.
Day 3 : DELHI - RISHIKESH
Breakfast in the hotel.
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh, upon arrival check in at the hotel.
Rishikesh - set along the right bank of the Ganga, at its confluence with the Chandrabhaga stream, Rishikesh is one of the best located pilgrimages along the Ganga. There is peace and solemnity in the atmosphere. No wonder then that saints and sages come here to commune with god. According to legend, in times long past, a sage Raibhya Rishi, did hard penance to please god. Satisfied by his devotion god appeared before the Rishi here as Hrishikesh which is how the place got its name. Today, Rishikesh is a centre of yoga and meditation. Evening Aarti ceremony on river Ganges.
Day 4 : RISHIKESH
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast full day visit of Rishikesh or Yoga at the Ashram.
The sights to be visited in Rishikesh are Swargashram which is one of the oldest Ashrams in Rishikesh, where as other important ashrams are Parmarth & Shivanda ashrams which are each side of the river Ganga. Ram Jhoola and Laxman Jhoola are the two suspension bridges which connect the important centres on the both side of river Ganga. Bharat Mata temple is the oldest temple of Rishikesh which is dedicated to Rishi Rabhya who did penance at this holy spot.
Evening Aarti ceremony on river Ganges. Evening is for the Aarti ceremony at Parmarth Ashram which is a spectacular experience to all the visitors.

Day 5 : RISHIKESH

After breakfast full day Yoga at the Ashram.

Day 6 : RISHIKESH - SHIMLA
After early breakfast in the hotel drive to Shimla, upon arrival check-in at the hotel.
The summer capital of the British in India, and the present capital of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla has been blessed with all the natural bounties which one can think of. It has got a scenic location; it is surrounded by green hills with snow-capped peaks.
Day 7 : SHIMLA
After the breakfast morning sightseeing of Shimla - proceed with visiting Indian Institute of Advanced Studies and Jakhoo temple.
Afternoon visit The Christ Church, The Ridge, Temple, The Mall and bustling Lower Bazar market.
Day 8 : SHIMLA – DHARAMSALA 245 KM/ 6 HRS
After breakfast in the hotel drive to Dharamsala.
Upon arrival check in at the hotel.
Day 9 : DHARAMSALA
Morning half day tour visiting Norbulingka Institute and Kangra State Museum.
Norbulingka is dedicated to handing down tradition and restoring standards by providing training, education and employment for Tibetans. It supports an environment in which Tibetan community and family values can flourish. It reconciles the traditional creatively and respectfully with the modern, and seeks to create an international awareness of Tibetan values and their expression in art and literature.
Kangra Art Museum is located in the Kangra valley, at the Kotwali Bazar of Dharamshala, in the state of Himachal Pradesh. This museum was inaugurated in 1990 and is considered to be a very unique museum that displays relics of Buddhist and Tibetan cultures. The Kangra Art Museum showcases the treasures of the Kangra valley in terms of artifacts, pottery, sculptures as well as some very precious anthropological stuff. The museum also boasts of a collection of very rare coins.
Afternoon a half day tour visiting Dalai Lama Temple, Bhagsunag Temple and St John’s church.
There are many Dharamsala attractions to choose from, but among the top things to do in Dharamshala is a visit to the residence, monastery, and temple of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
Ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Bhagsu Nag, the snake god, and to Lord Shiva. A freshwater spring, in which pilgrims to take a holy dip flows through the temple. A beautiful waterfall, well worth visiting, is located about a 20-minute walk from the temple. The Bhagsu temple is located in the picturesque Bhagsu village, a Gaddi tribal village whose traditional livelihood was herding and farming.
Day 10 : DHARAMSALA - AMRITSAR

After breakfast drive back to Amritsar (207 km). Upon arrival check in at the hotel.
AMRITSAR literally meaning “Pool of Nectar” was founded in 1579 by Guru Ram Das, the fourth Guru of the Sikh religion who settled down besides a pool bequeathed with miraculous healing powers. His son, Guru Arjun Dev, built the temple within the pool. Later Maharaja Ranjit Singh encrusted it with pure gold leaf.
Afternoon excursion to Waga Border to see the flag ceremony.
When the sun decides to say goodbye to a peaceful day it’s time for the reunion, which transcends the boundaries that man has laid. From Amritsar 35 Km on the road to Lahore (Pakistan), is India-Pakistan border, which is also known as "Attari (India) -"Wagah" (Pakistan) border. A visit to the border is an interesting experience, especially at sun-set, when the retreat ceremony takes place with the Border Security Force (B.S.F.) on the Indian side and The Sutlej Rangers on the Pakistan side putting up a well-co-ordinated.
The sound from the bugles blown together from both sides paints past on the canvas when India and Pakistan were one, simultaneously Flags of the two nations are ceremoniously retrieved and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause.

Day 11 : AMRITSAR

After breakfast city tour of Amritsar, visiting Golden Temple.
Visit the Golden Temple, the glory of Amritsar. Its bronze plates, heavily covered with pure gold leaf, burn and flash in the sun and reflect in the still waters of the pool surrounding the temple. The Golden Temple, also known as the “Harmandir Sahib,” is world acknowledged for being the holiest Sikh shrine in the entire city. This temple is the most major destination for travelers with culture, history and spiritual curiosity from all corners of the world.
Visit the infamous Jallianwala Bagh - now a national monument. In 1919, during the British Raj, Gen. Dyer opened fire on innocent pilgrims causing a massacre. The Jallianwala Bagh is a hugely historical piece, of large value to the city. This memorial was created to pay respects to the lives of thousands of innocent people in the community. The massacre took place on April 13th of 1919, a day that will forever be remembered by the people – especially when visiting the touching, beautiful Jallianwala Bagh. The Jallianwala Bagh is a lovely; peaceful community garden, with remnants of the innocent victims located artistically all throughout. Located within the vicinity of the Golden Temple, everyone who visits has said they can feel the holiness and calmness wash over them.
Afternoon in a time transfer to the railway station to board the train to Delhi.
