Shimla : Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.
Manali : Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It’s also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.
Day 1 : DELHI – SHIMLA (350KM/8-9 hours)
Arrival in Delhi, pick up from Railway station or air port and then depart for Shimla. On arrival check in hotel dinner and overstay at hotel.
Day 2 : SHIMLA – KUFRI & SHIMLA LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After Breakfast Excursion to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and one can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri, after lunch sight seeing of various places in and around. Shimla mosques built in (1830), Vice regal Lodge built in (1885), Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre- the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1887), The Grind lays Bank (1912)- the world wide bank started by Robert Melville Grind lay, The Scandal Point and The famous Shopping Plaza of the North The Mall. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 3 : SHIMLA – KULLU – MANALI (270 kms/ 7-8 Hours)
Today after morning breakfast Check out from the hotel & leave for Manali, Enroot you can visit like Sundernagar lake & Mandi, Kullu Valley, Pandoh dam, Vaishno Devi Temple (Kullu), Beas River, Shimla was one a string of hill stations that the British established to escape from the scorching heat of the plains. The 12 km, crescent shaped ridge on which it is located was first occupied by the British troops, in the early part of the 19th century, during the Anglo-Gurkha War. The little village of Shymala, a retreat for British officers, soon grew to become the glamorous summer capital of the British, in India. In the evening after arrival check into the hotel. Day 4 : MANALI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Today morning our representative will Pick you for local sightseeing of Manali “HADIMBA TEMPLE” Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway . “CLUB HOUSE” The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day” Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama. After sightseeing return back to hotel Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel in Manali
Day 5 : MANALI – SOLANG VALLEY – MANALI
{Note: Rohtang pass is closed on every Tuesday and during snowfall months/days. NGT (National Green Tribunal) has also limited the number of vehicles visiting Rohtang pass in a day. Thus, this sightseeing will be subject to permit obtained on the spot and extra cost (Permit + Vehicle charges}
Today morning after breakfast car will be available for Solang Valley visit: 13 kms. is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. It has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering
Institute has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute. After sightseeing return back to hotel Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel in Manali
Day 6 : MANALI – CHANDIGARH (320 KM/7-8 hours)
Today morning after breakfast drive to Chandigarh on arrival check into hotel Dinner & night stay at hotel.
Day 7 : CHANDIGARH SIGHTSEEING – DELHI (250 KMS 5-6 HRS)
Today morning after breakfast local sightseeing of Chandigarh like Rose Garden, Rock Garden & Sukhna Lake After sightseeing continue drive back to Delhi drop at Railway Station / Airport Departure with the great memories of this paradise that can’t be forgotten back to home as Souvenirs.
