• Day 1 : Delhi to Abhaneri Step Well to Delhi

  Abhaneri is a rural village of Dausa district in Rajasthan.This place is located at 230km away from Delhi. Abhaneri Famous for Harshat Mata temple and the Ancient step well, which belongs to the 9th century. Only some portions of the ancient Harshat Mata temple remains now such as the sanctuary walls, fore chamber and the terrace. The sanctum and shorn of this ancient structure is enclosed with an ambulatory.
  
  Abhaneri is a small village which situated in the Dausa district in Rajasthan. This place is located at 95km away from jaipur. This village is known for Harshat Mata temple which belongs to the 9th century. Only some portions of the ancient Harshat Mata temple remains now such as the sanctuary walls, fore chamber and the terrace. The sanctum and shorn of this ancient structure is enclosed with an ambulatory.
  
  Harshat Mata The ancient walls of shrine are carved with the Beautiful Carving images.The worn out images of the deities indicate that the shrine was originally dedicated to the creator of Hindu trinity, lord Vishnu. All temple walls and columns are decorated with various scenes of music, dance and love. Some of the panels of the temple have been shifted to amber and central museum, archaeological museum of Jaipur.
  
  Next to the Harshat Mata temple is the step well call Chand Baori, which belongs to the 11the century AD. This step well is considered to be one of the most beautiful step wells of India. Abhaneri is prominent for' Baoris', step wells which were invented by the natives to harvest rain water.These tanks were used as cool places of retreat and as water reservoirs during parched times of the year. Chand Baori is the most popular of the wells in the region, and it is one of India's deepest and largest.
  
  The main attraction of this place is carving works on walls and the surrounding of this beautifully carved step well are several storied verandahs.
