This five-day trip will be a rejuvenating experience for those trapped in the doldrums of city life. Feast your eyes on the beauty of Mt. Kangchenjunga which is one of the highest peaks in the world. Darjeeling with its tea plantation surrounding almost all of the slopes is another place worth visiting during the trip. Sample the delicious local cuisine before heading back to your hometown.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pick-up from NJP / IXB Airport and Drop to Gangtok (140 Km / 4 hours)

  Arrive at the airport and transfer to Gangtok. After reaching Gangtok, proceed to the hotel for check-in. Return to the hotel (in Gangtok) for overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

  After breakfast, start an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir which is located 55 kilometers away from Gangtok city. Enjoy your night stay in Gangtok. (In case of landslide or due to any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing.)

• Day 3 : Gangtok Half-Day Sightseeing to Darjeeling (100 Km / 4 hours)

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a half-day local tour of Gangtok covering Research Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom (closed on Sunday), Tashi View Point and flower show. Later, transfer to the hotel in Darjeeling for overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Darjeeling Full-Day Sightseeing (with Tiger Hill)

  Early in the morning (at 04:00 AM), drive to Tiger Hill and watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kangchenjunga. On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Japanese Temple. In the evening, indulge in some shopping at the local markets. Facilities for overnight stay will be arranged in Darjeeling.

• Day 5 : Darjeeling to NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (100 Km / 4 hours)

  Enjoy a tasty breakfast and check out from the hotel. Transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
