Package Overview

Nestled in the Himalaya, Himachal Pradesh is blessed with some of the most spectacular landscapes. It is truly a traveler’s paradise and we come across mighty snow peaks, deep gorges, green and golden valleys, flower filled meadows, misty woods, fast flowing icy rivers, glaciers and enchanting lakes. Manali is the launching point of the Deo Tibba Base trek. One passes through lush green forests of Pine, Fur, Oak and Cedar, crosses meadows laden with wild flowers & glittering streams from the main town of Manali. One can have panoramic view of many snowcapped high mountains, such as Deotibba (6001 mtrs), Indrasan (6220 mtrs.), Inderkilla (6000 mtrs.) etc. This trek provides ample opportunities to explore the glaciers and moraine in this part of the Himalaya. Yuvashakti has organized the Deo Tibba Base trek in the Beas Valley which is famous for its flower covered meadows, terraced fields of apple, paddy, maize and of course, the sparkling

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Departure for Delhi by 12629 / 22685 Sampark Kranti Express from Pune Railway Station at 9 am. Overnight train journey.

• Day 2 :

  Arr. Delhi at 1.30pm and transfer to Hotel Sunshine, Karolbagh for freshup. Proceed to Manali by Volvo at 5 pm. Overnight bus journey

• Day 3 :

  Arr. Manali & transfer to Base Camp. Enjoy a short acclimatization walk in the evening to Jogini falls or Vashisht village.

• Day 4 :

  Manali – Rhauni Thach - The trek begins with gentle climbs through alpine meadows and forests, we will reach Rhauni Thach. Post lunch short pitch rappelling will be conducted if the weather is favorable. Camp at Rhauni Thach.

• Day 5 :

  Rhauni Thach - Jobdi (3000mts) - The route from here onwards leads towards Jobdi on grassy banks that slope from high cliffs. Jobdi is a favorite place for the brown bears to hibernate in the nearby caves all winter. We have river crossing session in the afternoon and nighthalt at Jobdi.

• Day 6 :

  Jobdi – BhujDhar (3200 mtrs) - The walk begins with gentle slopes over the beautiful meadows and the latter half of the trek is through the snowy and rocky terrain. BhujDhar offers spectacular views of the Deo Tibba range and the Kalihani Pass.

• Day 7 :

  BhujDhar - Deo Tibba Base – BhujDhar -The trek is all along the stream which originates from the Deo Tibba Glacier. This patch of the trek is a true experience of trekking in an alpine zone. We return to BhujDhar for nighthalt.

• Day 8 :

  Bhuj Dhar – Manali Base Camp (3100 mtrs) - From the beautiful meadows of the upper Himalaya, we walk down for about two hours towards lower Bhuj Dhar, then cross Jobadi Nallah and begin the descend upto Pirni village beyond which we transfer to the base camp by vehicles. Overnight at Base Camp, Manali.

• Day 9 :

  Optional sightseeing tour of Manali town or rafting adventure and dep. for Delhi by bus in the evening. Overnight bus journey.

• Day 10 :

  Arr. Delhi at 8 am at Hotel Sunshine, Karolbagh and proceed to Pune by train no 12780 Goa Express from Nizamudin railway station. Overnight train journey.

• Day 11 :

  Arr. Pune.
