Dev Kyara is a high-altitude meadow found in Uttarakhand's Sankri range. Dev Kyara Trek leads you to the vast 4 km wide meadow of Dev Kyara at a height of 4100M situated between the Rupin and Supin Valleys, which runs parallel to the Har ki Dun Valley. With awe-inspiring vistas of Ranglana, Daowdu, Black Peak, Bandarpoonch, Kedar Dome, and Swargarohini, the Dev Kyara Trip is an easy trek that allows trekkers to experience one of the most unspoiled and beautiful paths in the Western Garhwal Himalayas.
This trip takes you through the Obra Gad Valley and the Dev Kyara Bugyal, two pristine sections of the Garhwal Himalayas, as well as traditional Himalayan communities rich in culture. The valley opens up to stunning views of the surrounding panoramas as you walk alongside the roaring Dibra Gad river, a tributary of the Supin river, through deep pine and oak forests. The route is laden with beautiful flowers, wild mushrooms, and wild strawberries. Trekkers will enjoy camping in the Dev Kyara meadow at the foot of the majestic Rangnala Peak, which offers spectacular views of Daowdu and numerous other nameless summits.

If you want to go with us, we will take a car/tempo traveller from Dehradun ISBT to Sankri. Dehradun ISBT will be the meeting spot. The 210 mile travel between Dehradun and Sankri would take 7-8 hours to accomplish. Spend the night in Sankri in a hotel or guesthouse or tent.
The first day of the journey begins with a quick three-hour drive to Boincha, the hike's beginning location. The journey takes you through Sankri's picturesque villages. Boincha is the confluence of two rivers, the Dibra and the Supin. Along the Dibra Gad river, the route is on the right. This day will be quite easy in terms of difficulty; nonetheless, it is always good to take it easy in the beginning, particularly on day one. After a 30-minute hike, you'll reach a concrete bridge on the other side of the Dibra River. After crossing the bridge, there is a short steep rise that leads to another route. So, after crossing one more concrete bridge, you'll be headed back to the main route on the other side. The hike from here is quite straightforward, with a steady rise to the campground. There are a few locations along the Dibra Gad river where you may sit and relax. Obra Thatch is the name of the campground, which is an open field in the valley's centre. A tiny wooden shrine dedicated to Obra Devi is close to one of the residents' homes. As a result, tents are set up for the night.
This will be the longest day of the journey, both in terms of distance and elevation gain. After leaving the Obra campground, you'll enter a deep, beautiful pine forest with a steady ascent. The woodland's ground level is covered with tall grasses, making it extremely fascinating until you pass the forest portion. Because it is a long day, divide it into two parts. The first part is basically before lunch, and there isn't much to see except for some pine and maple trees. If you go on this hike before the rainy season, you'll come across strawberry plants. The trip takes a drastic turn after a hard ascent through stones. The valley opens up to a huge expanse of open land surrounded by massive mountains. The snow-capped mountains may be seen from afar. You've arrived at the magnificent Bhawa waterfall campground, which is quite magnificent. It's a huge meadow next to a waterfall that's slicing down the mountainside. While the other side of the valley is a grove of birch trees, it is rather lovely to look at. The scene, which consists of birch trees and vast grass glades, is mesmerising. After a long and tiring day, retire to this wonderful campground for the night.
From the early morning view until arriving at Devkyara campground, it has been like a fairy-tale come true. The first rays of the Sun will leave you speechless as they descend over the beautiful green fields of Bhawa. Once you begin your walk, the wide valleys begin to emerge, with beautiful green meadows in the valley's centre and huge mountains on each side forming a wall. One of the primary attractions will be the amount of waterfalls you will encounter, which will number in the hundreds, not just one or two. They will be tiny or large, but they will keep coming until you reach the Devkyara campground. The closer you go to Mt. Ranglana, the longer you trek. The Dibra River kisses the route you're walking on in certain places. If the season is appropriate, you'll be wandering through countless fields of red, yellow, and even blue flowers. There are a few boulder crossing portions, particularly right before you reach Devkyara campground. There's a considerable possibility you'll be walking on snow throughout the pre-monsoon season, especially from April to May. There is a descending section just after the boulder zone that leads to the Devkyara campground. It's so big that it doesn't seem like you're in a valley, so think of it as a base camp for climbing Ranglana peak. Ranglana Peak's presence creates the impression of being in an alpine campground, which implies camping at a high altitude close to snow-capped summits, as is common on mountaineering expeditions. Many more snow-capped summits can be seen, which is breathtaking. Explore the campground before retiring for the evening.
Get up early on this day so you may continue your walk up to a location that takes about two hours from the campground; leave your luggage behind because you will be returning to the previous camping, Bhawa waterfall. The path ahead leads to a large shade beneath a rock that can easily accommodate more than a hundred people. Dev Kyara literally translates to "God's Settling Point." Return to Devkyara campground after viewing this site and continue your trek to Bhawa waterfall campsite, which will take around two hours. The campground at Bhawa Falls is so beautiful that extra day of camping isn't a terrible idea. Coming down to Bhawa waterfall from Devkyara campground provides a completely different perspective than ascending to Devkyara. The other end of the valley's vegetation leaves you dumbfounded, and the good news is that it doesn't seem like you're repeating the trek. So, for your final night of the journey, retire to the Bhawa waterfall, which offers a breathtaking view of the Bhawa campground.
This final day will be a long and continuous descent back to the trail's beginning. So be careful on your knees because when you descend, your entire body weight is transferred to your legs. The final day is an excellent opportunity to experience the forestry path one last time, thus repeating a trail is not a terrible idea. You'll be returning to the same trail you hiked the previous two days.
Morning breakfast will be provided to you for Sankri destination. Take rest whole day and spend rest full night along with sweet memories.
Last day of the trek. Today you will say goodbye to new friends and promise mountains to come back again soon.
