It’s the festival of legendary dramatic story of lord Krishna (from birth to king ceremony) and open air festival between two villages recorded gunnies book of world record. (Largest dramatic pandal in the world). Where two villages are involved in this festival for 11 days. Each day is the different chapter of that legend live story display by the villager.
Location of this festival:
Dhanyu Yatra- Bow Festival location at Bargarh -western part of Odisha( Orissa),

Nearest airport is Raipur (300km). connect with Delhi, Mumbai, Bhopal etc…& Bhubaneswar (340km), connect with Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Chennai etc…
Nearest railway station is Bargarh (4km from city centre) , main railhead at Sambalpur ( 40km). It connects the all weather motor able road to the major cities of India.

Here we use some fix departure in based of tribal tour and Dhanuyatra festival of Orissa, and also to keep the distance and sighting of this tour, we start our tour from Visakhapatnam ( the southern end of orissa) that’s why we mentioned here some particular day and date in order.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Arrival at Visakhapatnam airport – transfer to hotel on beach.
  Upon arrival in Visakhapatnam airport meet our representative and transfer to hotel on beach.
• Day 2 : Visakhapatnam- Sankaram Budhist site- Rayagada (5hr drive+ visit)

  Morning visit the famous ancient Budhist rock cut temple at Sankaram, then proceed to Rayagada enroute visit the Dravidian village, check in a nice hotel at Rayagada.
• Day 3 : Hiking Lanjia SaoraTribal village- Rayagada (5hr drive+ visit)

  Morning proceed towards Gunupur region , meet the colorful Lanjia saura tribe at their isolated village and excursion their life style.
  Overnight at the same hotel at Rayagada.
• Day 4 : Isolated Desia Tribal village in core forest area- Paikapada- Dokra cast

  Meet the Desia tribes at their isolated village in the core forest area, explore their lifestyle and then visit the ancient shiva temple -9th c AD, at Paikapada and meet the Dokra metal casting people at their village and excursion their live procees of Dokra casting and return back to Rayagada.
• Day 5 : chatikona-(Dunguria Market) – Kuvi Kondh village- Podagarh- Desia Lux

  Meet the colorful Dongria tribe at their weekly market at Chatikona and then drive towards to Jeypore, enroute visit the Kuvi kondh tribal village, visit also Baro paraja weekly market at Podagarh, check in a luxury eco resort at Desia ( subject to availability) or a nice hotel at Jeypore.
• Day 6 : Onkadelly( famous for Bonda Tribe market)- Gadhava village- Jeypore(3hr dr

  Meet the most colorful tribes of orissa- the Bonda at their weekly market ( onkadelly), visit the gorgeous waterfall- Duduma, visit the Gadhava tribal village and enjoy the famous tribal dance – Dhemsha with them.
  Free evening at Jeypore .
• Day 7 : hiking Isolated GondTribe village- Pre-historic rock art site- Bhumiya Tr

  Morning proceed towards Kalahandi enroute visit the most isolated village of Gond Tribes , pre- historic rock art site and Bhumiya tribal village too, and then check in a heritage palace of Kalahandi.

• Day 8 : Kalahandi (Bhavanipatna)- Balangir Textile village- Bargarh/ Evening D

  After royal breakfast checkout departure toward Bargarh and visit the unique textile village near Balangir, evening visit the Festival ground of demon king “Kansha” and become the guest of houner of that royal court.
• Day 9 : Bargarh – full day Dhanuyatra Festival

  Full day excursion the Dhanuyatra festival at Bargarh .
• Day 10 : Bargarh- Joranda Mahima sadhu monastry-Dhenkanal palace (5hr drive+

  Morning proceed towards Dhenkanal and check in a nice heritage palace at there , after noon visit to Joranda and explore the most unique worship process of Mahima sadhus at their monastery.
  Enjoy the royal dinner with campfire.

• Day 11 : Dhenkanal- Buddhist circuit ( Lalitgiri/ Udaygiri/ Ratnagiri)- Kilajodi( 4h

  Excursion the ancient budhist heritage and philosophy at Lalitgiri, Udaygiri and Ratnagiri – famously known as diamond triangle, check in a nice heritage palace at Kilajodi.

• Day 12 : Kilajodi- Bhubaneswar temple tour – Puri ( 3.30 hr drive+ visit)

  Morning proceed towards Puri and enroute visit the temple of temple city at Old Bhubaneswar, such as Parasurameshwar- 7th c AD, Mukteswar- 9th c AD, Lingaraj-11th c AD (non hindus are not allowed inside of this particular temple , so they can visit the temple on platform), Brahmeswar- 11th c AD. Check in a nice hotel on beach , relax and rewind at the swimming pool.
• Day 13 : Puri sightseeing by cycle rickshaw and Gotipua dance at Gurukul artisan village

  Explore the ancient part of Puri such as old part of puri. Old pond, jagannath temple ( on the top of lybreary) , cremation place, by cycle rickshaw (2hr),
  Meet the artisan and excursion their traditional painting at the Artisan village, and also the Gotipua dance with real costume at the gurukul ( ancient school).
  Afternoon visit the most famous Sun temple at Konark-13th c AD,, and excursion the language of stone at there.

  Morning proceed towards Chilika lake, meet the wild dolphin on nature while boating ( with boatman) walk on the rajhansh island and visit the seamouth point too. Enjoy the fresh sea food at there.

• Day 15 : Puri- Departure for Bhubaneswar airport for your onward destination.

  Morning after breakfast check out and departure to Bhubaneswar airport to board the flight for your onwards journey with lots of sweet memories.
