Dhulikhel - Namobuddha- Panahuti hikingis one of the best hiking that takes you to the very beautiful Buddhist stupa of Namobuddha(1982m.) situated on a hillock above Panauti. Namobuddha is a legendary place that is related to the pre incarnation of Lord Buddha. The place has its own story and history. It is believed that a kind hearted prince at that place offered his body to a hungry tigress and her five cubs up to the last breathe and took re-birth as Lord Buddha.

Our hiking to Namobuddha starts from the Dhulikhel. From Dhulikhel we hike all the way through beautiful scenery of emerald hills, pine forest, and rural villages and of course the superb Mountain View up to Namobuddha (1982m.). There in Namo Buddha you can visit a sacred Buddhist stupa rich in thanka art and sculptures. I say you the paintings on the wall of the stupa are superb. While returning back we hike all the way downhill passing through the awe inspiring environ with oranges yard on the way. As you hike down the lowland of panauti- an old Newari settlement, which is 32 kms Southeast of Kathmandu. The village also possesses one of the, only two known pre-17th century structure of Mahadev temple. You will see beautiful terraces filled with golden rice plant dancing in the wind and experience the typical culture of indigenous Newari people. From Banepa we return back to Kathmandu via bus.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  We receive you at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel.
• Day 2 :

  After having breakfast we take a drive up to Dhullikhel and start a hiking up to Namo Buddha (1982m.) We hike all the way through local villages and rice terraces after hiking 3 to 4 hour we will arrive to Namo Buddha a scared Buddhist place where Lord Buddha saved the life of a tiger dying from hunger. You can have a breathtaking view of mountains valley and hills and touch of Newari culture.
• Day 3 :

  we hike from Namo Buddha to Panauti: After breakfast continue walk to the Typical Newari village of Panauti . This traditional Newar settlement has a particularly rural character and a variety of farm products are offered for sale throughout the town. Panauti boasts a large number of fascinating temples. This village is connected to our religion. According to a historical myth it is believed that the entire valley of panauti rests in a single stone underneath. There are also several years old temples.
• Day 4 :
