Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Gauhati - Shillong 4-5hours

  Upon your arrival at Gauhati airport or station, you will meet our representative & drive to Shillong. Check into hotel. Free to enjoy the rest of the day. Walk around your hotel area or free to go on a ride to the nearby market area.
  Overnight at Shillong.
• Day 2 : Shillong - Cherrapunji - Shillong

  passing through the enchanting cloud covered mountains. Arrive Cherrapunji. On time proceed for trek to Single Decker Living Root Bridge, 15 minutes’ walk one way (Guide will be available only for the trekking part). Later, visit to the KaKhoh Ramhah near India - Bangladesh Boarder, Mawsmai Cave, Eco Park, Nohkalikai Falls, & Seven Sister Falls.
  
  Meghalaya's double-decker and single-decker root bridges are unique in the world and are a sight to behold. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots, which have been intertwined to form a bridge that can hold several people at a time. Khasi people have been trained to grow these bridges across the raised banks of streams to form a solid bridge, made from roots.
  Overnight at Shillong After breakfast, depart at around 7A. M for Cherrapunji which was one the wettest place on Earth.

  Sight Seeing of Shillong covering Wards Lake, Lady Hydari park, Shillong Golf Course, Shillong Peak, Bara Bazar & Don Bosco Musuem
  Overnight at Shillong.

• Day 4 : Shillong - Umiam Lake - Kaziranga 7-8hours

  Drive to Kaziranga on the way with a stop at Umiam Lake view point for a photo stop. You can enjoy your Water Sports activities. Continue the drive to Kaziranga with a Lunch Stop. Check in to the Hotel. Free for walk around.
  Overnight at Kaziranga.
• Day 5 : Kaziranga

  After Breakfast Jeep Safari. Back to the Hotel.

  Kaziranga National Park - a World Heritage site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world’s Great One-Horned Rhinoceros. Kaziranga also boasts the highest density of tigers among the protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. Though sighting of tigers are difficult because of the tall grasses that provide excellent camouflage, their presence can be felt everywhere by way of pug marks, kills and territorial markings. The park is home to large breeding populations of Elephants, Wild Water Buffalo and Swamp deer.

• Day 6 : Kaziranga - Bomdilla 7-8hours

  After a leisurely breakfast, take a drive to Bomdila. Check in to hotel. Visit the Buddhist Monastery at Bomdila.
  Overnight at Bomdila.
• Day 7 : Bomdilla - Tawang 7-8hours

  Drive to Tawang via Tse La(Pass) (4,120 m) with beautiful mountain views all around. When you are closer to Tawang, you can see the beautiful monastery from far away.
  
  Tawang is located at 3,300 m altitude and has approximately 40,000 inhabitants. Its main attraction is its great monastery where 400 Lamas are living. It is the birthplace of the sixth Tsangyang Gyatso Dalai Lama (1683 - 1706) and it is this city where the current Dalai Lama came from Tibet. The library with ancient manuscripts is particularly remarkable as the great hall which houses a huge golden statue of Buddha.
  Check in to the hotel. Relax.
  Overnight at Tawang.
• Day 8 : Tawang

  After an early breakfast, visit Ptso Lake/Sangestar Lake and now popularly known as Madhuri Lake. Later on visit to 400 years (17th century) old Tawang Monastery which is the second largest monastery in the world after Potala Palace in Tibet. The building is about 113 feet long, 80 feet wide and houses valuable antiquities, books and manuscripts-handwritten and printed. Tawang War Memorial is a 40-foot high multi-hued memorial, has a structure constructed in stupa design. Dedicated to the martyrs of Sino-Indo War held in 1962, this memorial is nestled among beautiful peaks, which overlooks the Tawang-Chu valley. Rest of the day is free to stroll round the streets of the town.

• Day 9 : Tawang

  Relax & walk around the area.
• Day 10 : Tawang - Dirang

  Drive down to Dirang
  Overnight at Dirang.
• Day 11 : Dirang - Bhalukpong - Guwahati 8-9hours

  Drive down to Guwahati on the way visiting Tipi Orchid Centre. Check in to hotel. Evening visit to Kamakhya Temple.
  Overnight at Guwahati.
• Day 12 : Guwahati - Onward connection

  Drop at Airport.
