Day 1 : Hyderabad
Arrive in Hyderabad and enjoy a traditional welcome. Our representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel that has been pre-booked for you. Overnight stay for you will be arranged here.
Day 2 : Hyderabad
On the 2nd day of the Discover Karnataka tour, you will explore the beauty of Hyderabad, the capital city of the state of Andhra Pradesh. The topmost attractions in the city include the Falaknuma Palace, Mecca Masjid, the Salar Jung Museum, and also the Charminar - the four pillars that are more than an identity for the city. Before you travel to the enticing destinations of Karnataka, exploring the heritage of Hyderabad will only prepare you for the 15 days of travel that wait to surprise you!
Day 3 : Hyderabad - Bidar - Gulbarga
From Hyderabad, you will proceed towards Bidar. Located at a distance of 130 km from Hyderabad, Bidar is mostly known for its medieval forts and tombs. Bidar will be your first destination in Karnataka in the Discover Karnataka tour.
While here, visit the Bahmani tombs and the Bidar Fort to taste a slice of medieval royalty. After exploring through the heritage of Bidar, move on to Gulbarga that is about 109 km from here.
Gulbarga is mostly known as the erstwhile capital of the Bahmani kings and still houses several tombs and forts belonging to that era. The foremost ones to visit are Gulbarga Fort, the Sharana Basaveshwara Temple, and the Khwaja Bande Nawaz Dargah.

Day 4 : Gulbarga - Bijapur
The next destination after Gulbarga in the Discover Karnataka tour is Bijapur. Although the first traces of Bijapur dates back to the 11th century, the city nevertheless gained much prominence during the rule of the Adil Shahi dynasty. Most of the monuments housed here still resonates the sounds and sights belonging to the era. The topmost attractions in the city include the Gol Gumbaz, Ibrahim Rauza, Jama Masjid, and the Asar Mahal.
Day 5 : Bijapur - Badami
From the medieval masterpieces of Bijapur to the ancient architectural wonders of Badami- yes that is where the trail will now head towards. Badami is most famous for its ancient rock cut caves and temples that are still held in very high esteem by the devotees and tourists alike. The foremost attractions in this city include the Bhutanatha temple, the Mallikarjuna temple, the Dattatreya temple, and most importantly the Badami Fort. While staying in Badami, also visit the attractions of Pattadakal that is located just a few km from here.
The cave temples of Badami with their impressive art and carvings will simply take your breath away.
Day 6 : Badami - Hampi
On the 6th day of the Discover Karnataka tour, proceed from Badami towards Hampi. The distance between the 2 cities is almost 140 km and therefore it will take you about 3 hours to reach Hampi. However, before you arrive in Hampi, you will also visit the tourist attractions of Aihole. With a number of ancient rock cut temples, Aihole is a popular destination for all guests on Karnataka tours.
You will reach Hampi by late afternoon. Therefore to unwind yourself after a long day, you can straight away head to your hotel room to rest. In the evening you can explore the ancient fortified ruins of the city at your own pace that are located within the remains of the erstwhile Vijayanagara kingdom.
Day 7 : Badami - Hampi
On the 7th day, embark on the guided tour across the ancient Hampi city. The rock cut wonders that are housed here truly take the onlooker on a never before voyage across ancient south India. The Virupaksha temple, the Vittala temple and the Palace of the King are the topmost attractions housed here.
Day 8 : Hampi - Chitradurga
On the 8th day of the tour, you will leave Hampi for Chitradurga that is located at a distance of about 155 km from here. Chitradurga is an ancient city most noted for its forts. The impregnable Chitradurga fort still resounds with a number of legends that surround it. You will love to hear out the tales and narrations of the sagas of those eras that are narrated by the local guides here.

Day 9 : Chitradurga - Chikmagalur
Post-breakfast you can move towards Chikmagalur. The drive will take almost 4 km for you to reach till this place, but this will be one drive that you will remember for long. Chikmagalur is known for its vast expanses of tea and coffee estates and all throughout the drive, the green carpet of these estates will give you constant company. The sight no wonder is hypnotizing.
Besides the scenic beauty you can also visit the Kodanda Ramaswamy temple, the St. Joseph’s Cathedral, and the Rathnagiri Bore while here.
Day 10 : Chikmagalur - Malpe
From Chikmagalur, head straight towards Malpe, an enchanting beach resort in the heart of Karnataka. Located at a distance of about 250 km, Malpe is most fondly frequented for its beaches and ancient Hindu temples. However, before you arrive in Malpe, you will also visit the architectural masterpieces of Halebid. Known for its rock cut temples, a brief halt in Halebid will more than refresh you and prepare you for the next leg of journey until Malpe.
On arrival in Malpe, you can straight away proceed towards the beach to refresh yourself after a long travel and also to capture some lovely sunset views.

Day 11 : Malpe - Coorg
What could be a better option than spending the morning of the eleventh day lazing around on the beach? Yes, head towards the beach and spend some moments in serenity and with the vast expanse of the water mass caressing your feet- The sight indeed is lovely!
Post a visit to the beach, you can embark on your sojourn to the next destination, Coorg. Noted for its scenic landscapes and vast plantations of tea and coffee, Coorg generally tops the list of destinations when it comes to hill station tours in Karnataka. Besides the charming views of the city, you can also undertake quite a number of adventure activities while here. Angling, trekking, white water rafting, and loads of shopping- yes the list in this variety is impressive.
Day 12 : Coorg - Nagarhole
The drive from Coorg to Nagarhole will take almost 2.5 hours. Therefore on arrival in this wildlife abundant area, you can check into a jungle resort to enhance the pleasures of visiting a national park. Nagarhole is specifically visited for viewing its exotic collection of Asiatic elephants. Therefore, while here do not miss an opportunity of treating your eyes to some of the most exciting visuals of the grand animal. A jeep safari here will only add to the pleasures.
Day 13 : Nagarhole - Mysore
After Nagarhole, the next destination that you will proceed to is Mysore. Located at a distance of about 90 km, Mysore is the erstwhile capital of the Wodeyar kings. It still houses a number of relics belonging to that era. On your arrival in the city, you can take a brief halt in your hotel room, before you embark on city tours. The first destination that you can visit is the Mysore Palace. The Indo- Saracenic architecture together with elements from the Hindu, Muslim, Gothic, and Rajput architectural patterns, make this place a truly enchanting tourist destination.
While here you can also visit the other attractions in the city including the St. Philomena’s Church and the Rail Museum, and the Folklore Museum.
In the evening you could visit the Vrindavan Gardens. The bubbling fountains, the colorful lights and musical ambience will surely capture your very senses.
Day 14 : Mysore - Shravanabelagola - Bangalore
On the 14th day of the tour, you will head from Mysore towards Bangalore, the last destination in the circuit. However, enroute you will also stop over at Shravanabelagola that is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites for the Jain devotees. Shravanabelagola houses the largest monolith statue of lord Bahubali and is a place of great reverence for Jains who come here from all over the country. There are a number of Jain temples also housed atop the Chandragiri hills, located just a few meters away from the Indragiri hills where the monolith is housed. While here, you can also pay a visit to the site where the tomb of Chandra Gupta Maurya is housed. By evening you will arrive in Bangalore after having traveled for about 140 km.
Day 15 : Departure
Depending upon your return schedule, you will be transferred to the Airport by our representative for your onward journey back home.
