Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Srinagar

  After Arrival at Srinagar Airport get transfer to Houseboat. Enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake. In the evening proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankracharya Temple situated atop a hill (Before 5.30 pm).Overnight in Houseboat.

• Day 2 : Srinagar-Sonmarg-Srinagar

  After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Sonmarg, which is situated at a height of 2740 meters (82 kms ( 3 hours one way). Have lunch at the local restaurant. Return to Srinagar after your excursion. In the evening, enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight night stay at your hotel. Overnight in Srinagar.

• Day 3 : Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

  This morning proceed to Gulmarg, driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden spot offering a spectacular view of towering snow capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers, gigantic firs and pine trees. (Private) Take a leisurely stroll or pony rides (on direct payment) across the green meadows to one of the worlds highest Golf Courses. You may wish to take a fun-filled ride in the Gondola (on direct payment). Return to Srinagar in the evening. The rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight in Srinagar.

• Day 4 : Srinagar - Pahalgam

  Today depart for Pahalgam, the valley of shepherds which is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from the River Lidder and Sheshnag Lake. (Private) En route visit the Awantipura Ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. On arrival in Pahalgam, check into your hotel. Post lunch proceed to Betaab Valley, originally called the Hajan Valley. Post the filming of the 1983 Bollywood blockbuster -Betaab at this location, Hajan was renamed Betaab. Since the discovery of the Betaab Valley, it has become a film-makers favourite locale for romantic films. The rest of the day is at leisure.

• Day 5 : In Srinagar

  After Breakfast drive to Aru Valley - a small yet self-sufficient scenic village located 15 km from Pahalgam. Thedrive to the village is breathtaking. The location of the village amongst the grasslands, make this place a visual delight later Drive to Mughal Gardens - Chasmashahi, Nishad and Shalimar (Closed on Friday). These gardens were where Mughal emperors once relaxed with their exquisite queens and even today are popular picnic spots. You can visit the local handicrafts shops, where you can purchase local hand crafted items - shawls, jackets, bed covers, paper mache, carpets and much more on your own. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

• Day 6 : Srinagar Airport

  This morning, after breakfast drive to Srinagar Airport.
