“Discover Nepal – 16 Days” is an all in one package. It consists of trekking, rafting, safari and touring. This 16 days package is perfect for all ages which lets you experience Nepal’s Himalayas and Terai culture which is still untouched from modernization.

This may sound a lot tiring with all the trekking and rafting but you will get time to rest. Discover Nepal takes you to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) which one of the most popular trek of Nepal and rafting in Seti River which is Grade 3/4 for rafting. It will also take you to the Chitwan National Park which has many flora and fauna and listed as one of the World Heritage Site by UNESCO.International flight ticket

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

  Meet our representative at the International airport, who will then transfer you to your designated hotel. As you reach your hotel, there will briefing of your tour along with welcome drink organized by 8eyes Travel. This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with fellow trek staff before meals.

• Day 2 : Fly to Pokhara

  In the 02 day, we take an early morning flight to Pokhara, Nepal’s second largest town. Soak in the fresh air with the sights of beautiful Annapurna Range. As soon as we reach Pokhara, we hop on our ride to Kande which will take us about an hour. From here our trek starts. Our first destination will be Australian Camp (1640m) located on a grassy ridge that affords inspiring views of the huge snowy faces of Annapurna massifs and the sacred peak of Machapuchhre.

• Day 3 : Trek to Landruk

  In the morning as you wake up, you will witness the stoning Sun rise views on the Himalaya. After the breakfast, we follow the trail through rhododendron and mixed forest. We will be crossing a series of Gurung village where lifestyles have not changed much over the centuries. After 5 hrs of walking, we will finally reach Landruk where we will be staying overnight.

• Day 4 : Trek to Chhomrong

  We will start our trek early in the morning, after we have our breakfast. From this point, the trial descends to the Modi River and ascends steeply 500m to join with the trial from Gandruk after crossing the river at New Bridge. Chhomrong village, where we will be staying for night, is short walk away from here. Chhomrong offers spectacular views of Annapurna South & Machapuchhre.

• Day 5 : Trek to Bamboo

  Today, we climb high above the Modi Khola traveling its west bank, and pass through forests of Bamboo, rhododendron and oak. We will be ascending to Kuldighar before finally descending to the Bamboo village. We will approximately walk for 4 to 5 hrs. Overnight stay at Bamboo village

• Day 6 : Trek to Deurali

  On 4th day of this trek, we will be hiking towards Deurali via the impressive limestone Hinku caves. Today’s path is smooth compared to other days. The path is undulating with well defined paths, including a significant amount of stone steps. After climbing a zig-zag stone paths, we will reach Deurali; our camp for the night.

• Day 7 : Trek to Annapurna Base Camp

  We will start our trek right after we have quick breakfast. We will walk for 2/3 hrs till we reach Machapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), 3700m a grassy moraine platform within a huge amphitheater enclosed by a solid wall of snow-capped peaks which include Annapurna I, Annapurna III and the impressive fish tail spire of Machapuchhre. After resting for awhile, we will continue walking approximately for 2/3 hrs. We will soon reach Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), which is an awesome picturesque landscape with majestic panoramic view of snow-capped mountainous peaks. We will stay the night at ABC.

• Day 8 : Trek Down to Himalaya Hotel

  We will descent down to Himalaya Hotel which offers a different perspective of the mountain scenery which we enjoyed in the ascent. We have to walk for approximately for 5 hrs as we have to move a bit more downhill.

• Day 9 : Trek back to Chhomrong

  On this day also, we descend a long, stone staircase through bamboo and rhododendrons forests through Kuldighar continuing through beautiful rhododendron forests and down to Sinuwa. From here, the trail leads back to Chhomrong with a steep climb. Overnight stay at Chhomrong

• Day 10 : Trek to Gandruk

  From Chhomrong, the trek heads to Ghandruk. We will descend gently through forests to Kumru Khola where we will stop for lunch. After lunch, we will continue our trek to Gandruk through Komrong Danda which is yet another, picturesque landscape. Overnight at Gandruk

• Day 11 : Trek to Syauli Bazar

  Today is our last day of trek, as we continue going downhill through villages and terraced fields of Syauli Bazaar. As we reach Syauli Bazaar, we catch our ride for Pokhara and in about 3 hrs we will reach Pokhara, the city of lakes. Overnight stay at Pokhara

• Day 12 : Transfer to Damauli

  On day 12, we will have early morning breakfast, as we set off for Damauli. Today is going to be adventurous as well as exciting, because we will be going for rafting. After 2 hrs drive, we will reach Damauli where we will change cloths and get ready for raft. All your belongings will be safely transferred to your next stop. Seti Khola River is Grade 3/4 with slightly warm water, amazing scenery and great variety of birds. We will raft for 4 hrs and reach Sarang ghat. We will spend our night at Sarang ghat’s River camp.

• Day 13 : Transfer to Chitwan National Park

  After breakfast, we will again go for rafting and reach our next destination i.e. Gaighat. We will raft for about 2 hrs and reach Gaighat where we end our Rafting and say good bye to Raft crews. Later we drive to Chitwan National Park, followed by lunch and possibly one of the Activity of Park. Overnight at Chitwan

• Day 14 : Chitwan National Park

  Today is filled with full day activities which includes jungle walks, canoe rides, bird-watching and jeep safari as well as lectures on other fauna. Our activity area is the territory of many species of wildlife which includes Tigers, Leopards, Rhino, Deer, Wild boar, Bear and occasional visit by wild Elephant peacocks, and extraordinary number of other bird life species.

• Day 15 : Back to Kathmandu

  After a quick breakfast, our representative will drop you to the Bharatpur airport. From there, you will be flying back to Kathmandu. You will have leisure time, which you can spend either by doing last minute shopping or strolling around town.

• Day 16 : Departure

  After breakfast, those people travelling by aircraft to further destinations will be transferred to the Airport.
