Then Continue To The Holiest Buddhist Shrine In Nepal, Swayambhunath, Which Is Just 3 Kilometres West Of The City. It Is One Of The World'S Greatest Buddhist Stupas. Painted On The Four-Sides Of The Spire Bases Are The Never Sleeping Eyes Of Lord Buddha, Always Keeping A Close Watch Over The Valley From The Top Of A Hillock. The Stupa Is Composed Of A Solid Hemisphere Of Brick And Earth Supporting A Lofty Conical Spire, Capped By A Pinnacle Of Copper Gilt.
  After That Continue Your Trip Towards Kathmandu Durbar Square, Also Known As Hanuman Dhoka Square, One Of The Major Attractions In Kathmandu Valley. The Square Is Known To Be The Social, Religious And Urban Focal Point Of The Capital City. The Main Palace And Monuments Were Built In The Medieval Age By Malla Dynasty Kings.
  Once The Sightseeing Ends You Have Some Free Time For Shopping.

  After Breakfast Proceed To Nagarkot, En Route Visiting Bhaktapur. The Multitude Of Temples Adorning The City Goes Well With The Name ‘bhaktapur’ Which Literally Means ‘town Of Devotees’. Today The Entire Town Consisting Of Temples, Monasteries, Courtyards And Houses Decorated With Wood Carvings Has Been Maintained To Preserve Its Medieval Characteristics. Interestingly, People Living Here Practice Ancient Culture And Traditions Giving Bhaktapur The Feel Of A Living Museum. The Durbar Square Here Is A Unesco World Heritage Site.
  Lunch Shall Be Arranged At A Local Restaurant Today.
  Nagarkot, Located Approximately 2000 Metres Above Sea Level, Is Considered To Be The Best Spot To Enjoy The Magnificent Sunrise And Sunset With Spectacular Himalayan Vistas. Nagarkot Commands One Of The Broadest Views Of The Snowcapped Himalayas In The Kathmandu Valley (8 Himalayan Ranges Of Nepal Out Of 13 Can Be Seen From Here). The Ranges Include Annapurna Range, Manaslu Range, Ganesh Himal Range, Langtang Range, Jugal Range, Rolwaling Range, Mahalangur Range( Everest Range) And Numbur Range With Splendid Views Of The Kathmandu Valley And Shivapuri National Park.
