All our itinerary component is flexible and can be modified to suit your interest and preference. Our standard is usually using 3 star hotel with standard AC transportation, but if you wish to have higher standard of accommodation and transportation, we are more than happy to provide the suggestion except in some remote area where only available standard transportation and non star hotel for example in Borneo, and Papua
Day 1 : Arrival in Makassar – Makassar City Tour
Upon your arrival at Makassar International Airport, your guide will pick you up from the airport. After meet and greet, you will drive to local restaurant for lunch. Then you will visitFort Rotterdam which was built about 1545 under King Tunipallangga of Gowa. This Fort contains the La-Galigo Museum where you can find exhibits such as a model of the fort, ethnographic displays, musical instruments and heraldry and reconstructions of archaeological sites. Nowadays it is famous as a cultural center. Then continue to visit Royal Palace of Gowa Kingdom “Balla Lompoa” The palace was built in 1936, in traditional style on stilts, with an imposing flight of steps leading up to a large reception room, nowadays the palace was become a museum, here you can see the heritage of Gowa Kingdom. If time permits, your guide will take you to Somba Opu Castle before heading back to your hotel.
Day 2 : Makassar – Ramang - Ramang Karst Forest – Puteh River Motorized Canoe Trip
After breakfast then we start the trip. First we will go to Ramang – Ramang Village. Escape from the hustle and bustle Makassar city. We will drive you about 45 minutes to Ramang-Ramang village, located in Maros regency. Soon when you jump into the traditional canopaddling through the Puteh River that surrounded by the Karst Tower or limestone cliffs and Nypa Fruticans, you will feel the cool breeze of the countryside. After half an hour paddling among the beautiful scenery, you will enjoy a soft trekking, visiting Passaung cave, a small cave with some prehistoric drawings inside. Back to the river and paddle again for another 15 minutes to Berua village which is surrounded by the limestone cliffs. The word “Berua“ is taken from the Makassarese language means “New“. Another soft trekking around the virgin Berua village and experienced the local life. After lunch, paddle out of the village and enjoyed other soft trekking among Karst Tower or limestone Park. Drive back to your hotel in Makassar.
Day 3 : Makassar to Sengkang
Early breakfast, and then you will start journey to Sengkang by Fully Air-conditioned Car. This will take around 6 hours on road, arrive in the afternoon at Sengkang. After having lunch you can start a traditional boat trip at Lake Tempe. For the rest of the day you will visit the floating house, Bajo people, and the silk weaving. Then you can see the beautiful sunset from the boat, before heading back to your hotel.
Day 4 : Sengkang to Toraja
Today you will continue the tour to Toraja. A drive-trip to Toraja Land with approximately 5 hours on the road, across the Bugis Vilage with their typical houses on poles along the magnificent mountain passes. Upon arrival at Toraja, you will have lunch at the local restaurant, then check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free program on your own leisure. Dinner on your own expenses.
Day 5 : Toraja Tours
After breakfast at hotel, we will conduct a visit to the royal family tombs at Suaya, the cliff side stone grave with wooden effigies ''tau-tau " on the balcony at Lemo, the baby's graves in the huge tree at Kambira. This way of tombs making is the only one in the archipelago, the Torajanese do not bury their corps in the ground, but on the stone hole, cave or alike. Before the-died body placed in such place, it has to be put in the Tongkonan (the clan house) as they believe that the-died person would not leaving them as long as the body is still at home. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant with rice field side view. After lunch, the next interesting place to visit are Londa, the natural cave grave, and Kete Kesu, traditional wooden carving village and hanging grave.
Day 6 : Toraja Tours
Visiting Palawa, a village with the beautiful scenery of the Toraja family houses 'Tongkonan', and a number of buffalo's horns decorated to the front of their houses, Sa'dan To'Barana, the traditional cotton weaving village, Batutumonga, the highland area and the beautiful landscape of 1355 meters high, which has temperature around 17°C in the daytime, your lunch will be served here. Lo' ko mata, the graves on the rocky slope, which mean, the hole of the grave seems like an eye. Then continue with trekking from Pana to Tikala, more fascinating spot that can be seen along the way.
Day 7 : Toraja Tours
Today you will start the tour by visiting Pangli, the stone statue of the dead man, Bori, the existence of megalithic grave, Parinding, the big wooden grave "erong" and cave, Singki, the horse grave in the highland. Siguntu, the traditional village and rice barn.
Day 8 : Toraja to Makassar
After breakfast you will start driving for 8 hours to Makassar. Lunch will be at local restaurant in Pare-pare. After lunch continue your trip and arrive in Makassar about afternoon. Check in to your hotel and rest.
Day 9 : Makassar – Gorontalo – Togean
At appointed time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Gorontalo. Upon arrival in Gorontalo, your guide will pick you up and take you for a short city tour to Otanaha Fortress, it was built in 1522 by King Ilato from Gorontalo Kingdom. Located in Dembe Hills, from this place you can see the beautiful Limboto Lake. At the appropriate time transfer to ferry terminal, the ferry will depart at 17.00, it will takes around 10 hour boating. You can sleep in the standard cabin room with AC.
Day 10 : Arrival Togean Island – Kadidiri Resort
At around 5AM arrive at Togean Island, you can enjoy the sunrise from the ferry boat. Then we will transfer you to Kadidiri Island for check in at the standard resort here. Togian Islands is a beautiful island group in the Tomini gulf, the Togian Islands are very close to the equator, due to that are all islands covered with tropical rain forest. There are no signal for mobile phone here. The local people here are very traditional. After check in and breakfast, at 09.00 AM we will start the Island Holing Tour, first we will visit Malenge Island, see the activities of Bajo People here that very unique and interesting, they live by becoming fishermen on the islands. Around 12 noon, continue to California marine park, a beautiful marine park expanse in the middle of the sea, a kind of coral islands. Snorkelling in this area. Around 3 pm back to the resort, Sunset program, free program.
Day 11 : Island Hopping Tour – Togean – Gorontalo
Breakfast at the resort then around 9am we will visit Ubur-Ubur lake (Jellyfish) by the boat. There are hundreds of colorful jellyfish. The jellyfish in the lake is not overpowering, you can touch and snorkeling with hundreds of jellyfish. Continue to Karina Beach, an empty white sandy beach. Return to the resort and prepare to check out and transfer to Wakai Harbor to take a ferry boat back to Gorontalo. The ferry boat will depart at around 16.00. Overnight on the boat.
Day 12 : Arrival Gorontalo – Whale Shark Tour – Manado
Arrive Gorontalo Harbor at around 5 am and transfer to Hotel in Gorontalo for resting.
After breakfast at hotel, at 08.00 AM we will pick you up from your hotel to the Whale Shark park for snorkeling. At around 11AM return to the hotel for taking a bath. Then in the afternoon, at the appropriate time you will be transfer to the airport for your flight to Manado. Upon arrival in Manado you will directly transfer to your hotel.
Day 13 : Gorontalo – Manado – Tangkoko Rain Forest
Daily breakfast at hotel, then you will be transfer to Tangkoko rainforest. Afternoon trekking for 3 – 4 hours, you will then be guided in birding watching. In this area you will have a big opportunity to see the Black Crested Macaque (Black Monkey indigenous to North Sulawesi), hornbills, and couscous as well as other fauna specific to the reserve. Depending on what time it gets dark, we will head into the denser part of the jungle as the sun is setting, where you will (most likely) be able to get photographs of the Tarsier Spectrum (the world's smallest primate)
Day 14 : Tangkoko Rain Forest
Rising early, you will again hike into the forest with local guide where you will have the best opportunity to view more birds and certainly the Black Crested Macaque as these monkeys are earlier risers and are searching out food along the coastline at Tangkoko. Both early morning and in the afternoon is the best time for wildlife watching, Lunch will provide in Junggle and dinner will served in Homestay.
Day 15 : Tangkoko to Manado Departure
At the appropriate time, we drive back to Manado and transfer to airport to catch your flight.
