Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : HANOI

  Landing in Hanoi, welcome by your guide and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure until dinner time at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

• Day 2 : HANOI

  A full day tour of Hanoi. Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined streets, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. This city tour includes such sights as Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his stilt house, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda on the edge of West Lake. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue with a visit to the Ethnology Museum to give you an overview of the ethnic diversity of Vietnam.
  
  End the day right in the heart of Hanoi with a visit of the 'Lake of the Restored Sword' and exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter, also known as the '36 streets', by walk, a great way to see this very typical area of Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

• Day 3 : HANOI - HALONG BAY

  After breakfast, the driver and van will pick you up at hotel to depart for the 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay. Journey there through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta, observe everyday life of Vietnamese villagers as they work the rice fields, take pigs to the market on motorbikes and plough the fields with their water buffaloes. Arrive from Hanoi late morning and welcome at the pier. Check-in procedures and transfer to your boat for the overnight journey into the Bay.
  
  Lunch is served on board as you cruise into Halong Bay. Cruise by rock formations with such names as Sail, Dog and Dinh Huong (incense pot). Towards the end of the day set anchor for the night as the sun sets followed by dinner. Overnight in on boat.

• Day 4 : HALONG BAY - HANOI

  Get up early and enjoy morning view of the beautiful scenery, after breakfast, continue visiting the recently discovered Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. Continue visiting Bai Tu Long Bay en route the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks to dragons and even General de Gaulle’s nose!
  
  After another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on board, take a van back to Hanoi by road and transfer to Noi Bai airport and take fly to Da Nang. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight in hotel in Da Nang

• Day 5 : HANOI - DA NANG - HOI AN

  Having breakfast before our guide pick you up and transfer to the south to visit the beautiful Cham museum in Da Nang and explore the Buddhist Shrines of the Marble Mountain Caves.
  
  Leave Danang for Hoi An Old Quarter which lies on the Thu Bon river's bank. In the afternoon we will walk around between the 844 houses and temples in Hoi An, including the Tanky's House, 200 years of antiquity, with Chinese poems written in nacar inlaid, or even the structure oldest call "The House at Tran Phu St.", made of carved wood. Visit city's Market, located on the rightside of the river and one of the most colorful places of the trip. Overnight at Hoi An.

• Day 6 : HOI AN

  Breakfast and free day for shopping and beach. Overnight at Hoi An.

  Having breakfast before transfering to Da Nang Airport for the 1-hr flight to one of two biggest cities in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon)
  
  After lunch, start the half day tour visit the former Presidential Palace. From there walk around some of the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, the Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

• Day 8 : HO CHI MINH CITY - MEKONG DELTA - HO CHI MINH CITY

  The colorful floating market, vast emerald rice fields and lush back waterways; these are the things that make Cai Be such a desired destination. After driving 2.5-hours from Ho Chi Minh City, cruise the many ributaries of the Mekong to visit Cai Be floating market, wonder through vibrant tropical fruit gardens as well as visiting home cottage industries making 'pop' rice. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
