Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Trivandrum

  Upon arrival at the Madurai airport/railway station, you will be received by our representatives who will escort you to your hotel of stay. register yourself at the reception and after getting refresh yourself leave for the local sightseeing in Trivandrum. Today you’ll be visiting the famous Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. It is one of the 108 Divya Desams which are considered the sacred abodes of Vishnu in the Sri Vaishnava tradition. After having darshan, continue your city tour and visit Napier Museum and Art Gallery. The museum houses a collection of historical artifacts, bronze idols, and traditional Kerala art. The nearby Sri Chitra Art Gallery showcases works from Raja Ravi Varma and other prominent artists. Next you’ll be covering Kanakakunnu Palace & Kuthiramalika (Puthenmalika) Palace Museum. By evening return back to the hote;l for a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Trivandrum - Kanyakumari (97 Kms/03 Hrs.)

  Begin your penultimate morning with a healthy breakfast, and proceed for your transfer to Kanyakumari, On arrival check in to the hotel and leave for Kanyakumari sightseeing.Visit the Kanyakumari beach and the Vivekananda Memorial Rock. Considered to be a sacred spot, the memorial has been constructed on a rock formation that cropped out of the sea, where Swami Vivekananda did penance. Also visit the Padmanabhapuram and Bhagavathi Amman Temple, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Government Museum, Gandhi Memorial, Vattakottai Fort, Thanumalayan Temple, and Kanyakumari Sunset View Point. Evening come back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.

After arrival in Rameswaram check in to the hotel and leave for an evening sightseeing tour in Rameswaram. you will be visiting Kothanda Ramar Temple, Agni Theertham & Gandhamadhana Parvatham,Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial, Kalam House & Kalam Shop. By evening return back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Rameswaram sightseeing & transfer to Madurai

  Wake early morning and leave to visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple. We will also be visiting the temple on the top of a hillock— it’s the center of pride are Lord Rama’s footprints. After having darshan, return back to the hotel and Savor a delectable breakfast.
  
  After breakfast you will be driven to cover the remaining sightseeing in Rameswaram. We will see the Dhanushkodi Temple as well as the beach. We will also see Five Faced Hanuman Temple, Adam’s Bridge, and the Nambu Nayaki Amman Temple, each place unique and offering beautiful glimpses into India’s rich past. Further by late afternoon you will be transferred to Madurai (173 Kms/03 Hrs.) hotel for a comfortable overnight stay

• Day 5 : Madurai sightseeing & Departure

  Savor a delectable breakfast and check out from the hotel, today you’ll be visiting the sightseeing around Madurai. Your first stop for the day is the Meenakshi Amman Temple, said to have been built in 6th century BC. Among the most revered temples in India, the Meenakshi temple attracts about 15,000 visitors everyday. After paying homage, proceed to Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, a rock cut temple which is believed to have been built by the Pandyas during the 6th century. Next up, visit Thirumalai Nayak Palace, the regal palace of the Nayaks of Madurai which will give you a deeper understanding of the local history. You’ll also be visiting the Gandhi Museum.
