Day 1 : Paro
Arrival in Paro by Flight. Pick up from the Airport.
Enjoy the beauty of lushly green valley and the traditional food of Bhutan. You can visit National Museum and Paro Dzong. Overnight stay.
Day 2 : Paro
Full day sight-seeing.
Take a short hike to the Taktsang Monastery. Taktsang means 'The Tiger's Nest'. This Monastery is perched on a rocky mountain. It is believed that Guru Padmasambva landed here on the back of a Tigress. You can also visit other exciting places of interest. Overnight stay.
Day 3 : Ta Dzong
After early breakfast reach Ta Dzong and start your trek. This 3-4 hours trek gradually leads you towards up-hill through Mixed Temperate forest and farmhouses. By the lunchtime the trail goes through the thick Coniferous belt. Proceed further and then you reach Jele La Pass (2600 Sq.m) and walk downhill till you reach the campsite in Jele Dzong. Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 4 : Jangchuk Lhakha
After breakfasts start your 4-5 hours trek to Jangchuk Lhakha (3,780 Sq.m). The trail covers Temperate and Alpine Forests. Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 5 : Jimi Langtso
Today we will trek to Jimi Langtso Lake (3,880Sq.m), the highest altitude campsite of the trip. This trail goes uphill through coniferous forest and barren hillsides dotted with the Rhododendron Flowers (if spring season) and varieties of Flora & Fauna. Before we cross the last Pass we pass by the Ridge which offers a great view of Mt. Kanchendzonga, Chomolhari, Jichu Drakey and Tsrim Gang. Further move downhill till you reach the lake. Overnight stay in Camp in the Lakeside.
Day 6 : Phojoding
After early breakfast starts the trek to Phojoding (3,870 Sq.m). Gradually the path goes up-hill and covers numerous Passes- some of them as high as 4,000 Sq.m. We may even see the caravan of Blue Sheep. On the way to Phojoding we come across the beautiful lakes like Lake Janetso and Lake Semkotatso. From Phojoding Pass we get a wonderful view of the Capital of Bhutan - Thimpu. Further walk downhill till we reach the campsite. Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 7 : Thimpu
In early morning we can have a Magical sight of sunrise. Visit the temples. Later on trekking downhill path for about 2 hours we reach the endpoint of this trek trip. Drive to Thimpu from here. Overnight stay.
Day 8 : Thimpu
Visit The Memorial Chorten, National Library, The indigenous Hospitals where traditional medicines are still practiced, Handicraft Emporium where Bhutanese Textiles are displayed for sale, Woodcraft and Painting Schools which still preserves the traditional Art & Craft, Tashicho Dzong - the main Secretariat building, the office of the King and the Throne room; Simtokha Dzong - one of the oldest fortress of Bhutan built in 1629 A.D which houses the largest Monastic schools of Bhutan. Overnight stay.
Day 9 : Paro
After late breakfast or lunch drive to Paro. One may opt for the sight-seeing. Overnight stay.
Day 10 : Departure
It is the time to depart. Drive to Paro Airport.
