Day 1 : Paro Arrival
Arrive Paro. You will be welcomed by our Guide who will be waiting for your arrival. If you reach early will do some sightseeing like National museum and Paro Rinpung Dzong. In evening will stroll in Paro town. Night halt in Paro.
Day 2 : Hike to Taktshang
After early breakfast will hike to Paro Taktsang which is one of the most popular monastery visited by the tourist. It was first built in 1692, around the Taktsang Senge Samdup, a cave where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three months in the 8th century. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche (Guru Padmasambhava) flew to this location from Khenpajong, Tibet on the back of a tigress and subdued a demon. He then performed meditation in one of the caves here and emerged in eight incarnated forms (manifestations) and blessed the place. Subsequently, the place came to be known as the "Tiger's Nest". Guru Padmasambhava is known for introducing Buddhism to Bhutan. Today, Paro Taktsang is the best known of the thirteen caves in which he meditated.
In the afternoon will visit Drugyel Dzong; fortress which was built to commemorate a victory over Tibetan. Kyichu Lhakhang; one of the oldest temple in Bhutan.
In the evening will stroll in Paro town. Dinner and overnight at Paro.
Day 3 : Paro to Jili Dzong(Start of trek)
Distance 17 km, 5-6 hours , 360m assent, 80 descent, camp altitude 2,850 m The trek starts from Drugyal Dzong at 2,580 m with a downhill walk on a wide trail. The trail climbs gently traversing through well-maintained rice terraces and fields of millet. The route later enters an area of apple orchards and forests. Soon the valley widens and you reach the army post of Gunitsawa at 2,810m. This is the last stop before Tibet. At 2,870m, just beyond Shana Zampa, there are several good camping places in meadows surrounded by trees
Day 4 : Jili Dzong to Jangchulakha
Distance 10 km, 4-5 hours, 310 m ascent, 50 m descent, camp altitude 3,770 m. You begin with a steep climb for about an hour and a half, then the slope evens a bit and the ascent is more gradual. The trail takes you through thick alpine forests and dwarf rhododendron tress. You may see herders and their yaks around your campsite.
Day 5 : Jangchulakha to Jigmelang Tsho
Distance 11 km, 4 hours, 230 m descent, 330 m ascent, camp altitude 3,870 m. The trail follows a ridge and on a clear day the view of the mountains and valley are simply stunning. The campsite is close to the Jimgelang Tsho Lake. This lake is known for its giant sized trout.
Day 6 : Jigmelang Tsho to Simikotra Tsho
Distance 11 km, 4 hours, 820 m ascent, 400 m descent, camp altitude 4,110 m. The trail takes you through dwarf rhododendron trees and past Janetso Lake. You may come across some yak herder camps where you will have the opportunity to get a glimpse of a nomad’s life. The campsite is close to Simkotra Tsho Lake.
Day 7 : Simikotra Tsho to Phajoding
Distance 10 km, 3-4 hours, 130 m ascent, 680 m descent, camp altitude 3,750 m. The day begins with a gradual climb. If the weather permits, you will have a spectacular view of Mount Gangkar Puensum, the highest mountain in Bhutan and several other Himalayan peaks. From this pass, the trek takes you downhill towards Phajodhing where you will halt for the night. The camp is located just above Phadjoding Monastery.
Day 8 : Phajoding to Thimphu (End of Trek)
Distance 4-5 km, 3 hours, 1,130 m descent. After passing Phadjoding monastery, the trek to Thimphu (Mothitang) is downhill through a forested area of mostly blue pine. The walk, at a leisurely pace, takes about three hours.
Day 9 : Thimphu sightseeing
Today we will start our sightseeing by visiting beautiful memorial chorten,built in 1974 by her majesty Azhi Phuntsho Choden Wangchuk. Bhuddha point where you will see 169 feet big seating Buddha which one of the largest Buddha statue in the world as well to see the bird's eye view of thimphu city. Changangkha Temple which was built in 12 century. Inside the temple one can see the original old wall paintings and the unique statue of god of compassion in the form of 11 faces in seating poster. Takin reservation centre to see our Bhutan's unique national animal, the takin.to see the art work of Zorigchusum(13 traditional arts and crafts) you can visit painting school. Then will visit Folk Heritage Museum to see typical example of traditional farmhouse and Textile Weaving center at changzamtok were one can see traditional weaving style of fabric. An optional visit of Tashichoe dzong or oldest fortress Simtokha dzong which was built in 1629.
Night stay in Thimphu
Day 10 : Thimphu to Paro
Today after breakfast you can drive back to Paro for one hour drive. Then you can start your cultural sightseeing of paro by visiting the 15 century old Dungtse lhakhang which one of old unique temple. Then drive up to visit Ta dzong (watch tower) built in 1951 to use as a watch tower to defend Ringpung dzong and Paro valley during the time of war and converted into national museum in 1967 which recorded in UNESCO world heritage. Unfortunately original museum was destroyed by the earthquake in September 2011 but one can still see a magnificent collection of Bhutanese artifacts like costumes, religious Tahngka paintings, arm weapons, and a fascinating collection of Bhutan stamps in new gallery. Then will visit Paro Ringpung dzong which is one of the finest example of Bhutanese architecture. If still feel energetic you can take a short walk down to the cantilever bridge. Towards evening will visit one of the oldest temple in Bhutan kyichu lhakhang built in 7th century. After that leisure in Paro town.

Day 11 : Paro Airport and Departure
Depending on your flight departure time early in the morning your guide will take you to airport to see you off onto your flight and wish you good journey and Tashidelek(goodbye/good luck).
