Day 1 : Arrival in Paro
The representative from Bhutan Eden Holiday will receive you at airport and transfer to hotel at Paro. After refreshment and lunch, we go sightseeing to following
1. Ta dzong-the National Museum, the ancient watch tower which has been converted to museum in the year 1967. The museum has the collection of art, relics, religious thangkha paintings, postage stamps, coins and handicrafts, as well as a small natural history collection.
2. Paro Dzong. Below Ta dzong is the Paro Dzong which houses the present District administrative offices and the Paro Monastic body. The dzong is also known by the named Rimpung Dzong built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646.

Day 2 : Paro-Excursion to Taktsang Monastery
Start excursion after a short drive to Satsam chorten. The path is through beautiful pine forest. Stop for light refreshment at Taktsang Cafeteria. A climb up hill will take you to the Taktsang Monastery- the Tiger Nest. The Taktsang Monastery is the most sacred for the Buddhist. The main lhakhang was built by Paro Penlop, Gyaltse Tenzin Rabgay in 1684. This amazing monastery is built at the edge of the rocky cliff. It is believed that Guru Padmasambhava who brought Buddhism to Bhutan in 747AD flew in on the back of a flying tigress. So it is named Tiger Nest.
Day 3 : Paro –Jangchulakah (30km, 6-7 hours)
Start trekking nearby Ta Dzong through farm road of Jishigang and Damchena village. A short climb through fir forest is Jele Dzong. The ascending walk give full view of Paro valley with snow capped mountains behind it. The Jele Dzong has a statute of Chenrezi.
After lunch, walk with trail which passes through the thick alpine forests and rhododendrons. You will have amazing views of mountain peaks including the Mt. Jomolhari, if the weather is clear. You may find yak herders nearby your campsite.

Day 4 : Jangchulakha-Simtota {22km, 5-6hours}
Follow the route through the ridgeline, and the views of mountains and valley are stunning in a clear day. You will have the impressive view of Jichu Drake (6,989 m), the peak which represents the protective deity of Paro.
Then take the trail that passes through dwarf rhododendron trees which will reach you, Janetsho Lake. You can come across yak herders’ camps. You will have an idea about life of yak herders. Overnight halt at campsite close to Simkota Lake.
Day 5 : Simtokha-Phajoding-Thimphu {15km, 4-5 hours}
Start the day with a gradual climb; in the clear weather you will enjoy stunning views of Mt.Gangkar Puensum and other peaks. The route then slowly descends through juniper trees to Phajoding community hall.
The trail will take you complete downhill walk from Phajoding through blue pine forest.

Day 6 : Thimphu sightseeing
Today we go for sightseeing to following places
1. Memorial Chorten built in memory of third King, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
2. Buddha statute at Kuensel phordang to see the tallest statute of Buddha.
3. National Library which has the collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts.
4. Zorig Chusum the art school-Institute, where students learn about thirteen traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan. It is popularly known as painting and curving school.
5. Changangkha Lhakhang built in the 12th century. This monastry is known as Children’s monastery as the children born in Thimphu are considered to be protected by the guardian deity of the monastery.
6. National Institute of Traditional Medicine where herbal medicines are made from medicinal plants of Bhutan by traditional medicine practitioners.
7. Mothithang Takin Zoo where you will find to see takin.
8. Royal Textile Museum an educational centre for training and study of traditional art of weaving and museum studies. It exhibits country’s textiles.
9. Crafts Bazaar where the rural arts and crafts are displayed for sales.
10. Tashichodzong –the fortress of the glorious religion built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1641. This is the centre of the government ministries and religion. It houses the “Throne of the King” and Central Monastic Body.
Overnight halt at Thimphu.
Day 7 : Paro Departure
Drive to Paro airport and depart
