Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, Uttar Pradesh - Hidden Jewel of India

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi, leave for Dudhwa Tiger Reserve and check-in at guest house

  Welcome! Our representative will meet you on your arrival at Indira Gandhi Airport, New Delhi. We will provide you a vehicle for your transfer to Dudhwa Tiger Reserve (470 kms, approx 9-10 hours drive depending on the traffic). Lunch on the way at “Dhaaba” or Restaurants near town Gajraula. (3 hours 30 min drive from Delhi)
  Reach Palia Kalan (nearest town to Dudhwa National Park) in late evening, check-in at “Hindustan Bajaj Sugar Mill” guest house, have dinner and retire for the day.

• Day 2 : Morning jungle safari, including elephant ride and evening jungle safari at Dudhwa National Park

  Morning starts early with safari. Leave for rhinoceros area (fenced area for the protection of rhinos) by jeeps, where you can explore the area on elephant backs, an unusual experience as it is restricted to very few jungles. Come back to the guest house for breakfast.
  
  Time for another safari, head to the woods again for encounter with wild animals and birds. After returning to guest house, evening at leisure. Dinner & retire for the day.

• Day 3 : Morning safari, check out from guest house, check-in at Sathiana Forest Rest House and evening safa

  Similarly like day 2, morning starts early with safari. Come back to the guest house and after breakfast check-out from Guest house. Leave for Sathiana Forest Rest House, located inside the forest.
  Sathiana range is famous for leopards and Asiatic elephants. Its grasslands is also home to one of the critically endangered and rare bird – Bengal florican (Houbaropsis bengalensis).
  After a splendid lunch and some rest, leave for the evening safari to explore Sathiana range. Keep your cameras ready, you might have an encounter with the elusive cat, leopard or mighty elephants. After returning, have dinner and retire for the bed. Enjoy your thrilling night amidst wilderness. You may hear many alarm calls during night (warning calls by animals of prey for presence of nearby predator) therefore it is not at all advisable to wander outside during night.

• Day 4 : Morning safari, check-out from Sathiana, check-in at resort at Kishanpur and evening jungle safari

  Morning Safari in Sathiana range. After safari, return to forest rest house, have breakfast. Check out at 10:30 am and leave for Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary (approx. 2 hours drive). Check in at resort, after a splendid lunch and some rest, leave for the evening safari to explore Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary.
  Behold! You are entering one of the best places to see the Swamp Deer in the world. With a miraculous variety of flora and fauna, Kishanpur Sanctuary is home to rare barasingha (Swamp deer). After returning, indulge in a sumptuous dinner and go to bed.

• Day 5 : Morning & Evening Safari in Kishanpur

  Start your morning with jungle safari and explore the this famous and rich park. Come back, have breakfast and take some rest. After lunch, proceed for evening safari. Late evening at leisure in wilderness.
  Overnight at resort at Kishanpur

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
• Day 6 : After breakfast, Check-out from the resort, drive to Delhi and board flight for home

  Morning starts comfortably, after breakfast, check out from resort at 8:00 am and drive to Delhi (450 kms, approx 9-10 hours drive depending on the traffic). Lunch on the way at “Dhaaba” or Restaurants near town Gajraula. (5 hours 30 min drive from Kishanpur)
  Drop at airport in the evening. The trip ends here but we are sure that the enchanting jungle will make you return again.
