Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station to jaldapara

  Bagdogra Airport/NJP station to Jaldapara via Chalsa-140 kms in 3.5 hrs drive approx:
  After reception drive to Jaldapara – a unique grassland in Bengal Bhutan foot Hills. The Sanctuary was constituted for the protection of the wildlife in the year 1943, lies at the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Jalpaiguri district. The wild life consist of one horned rhinos, Royal Bengal Tigers, wild elephant, deer, swam, wild pig, bison and a large number of birds.
  Check in at Tourist Lodge and get refreshed.
  Afternoon enjoy Safari to Jaldapara Forest (3 to 5 pm): We take you to an exciting car safari inside the exotic Jaldapara Sanctuary. Watch panoramic view of Jaldapara Sanctuary from the Watch Tower lies amid the forest at Herindanga (Deer land). There is a salt pit close to the Watch Tower where the animals frequently comes to taste the salt. Spend some time in the natural environment and watch the sun slowly sinks in the horizon.
  Back to Hotel, Have a leisure evening.
  Overnight at Jaldapara
• Day 2 : Jaldapara Forest Safari & Coochbehar excursion

  Jaldapara Jungle Tour(Elephant Ride (As per the availability) in the Jaldapara Forest (6 to 8 AM):
  Today early morning we take you to an exciting elephant ride deep inside the Forest of Jaldapara. Watch the rhinos and other animals from the elephant, ride through the high grasses and see the animals roaming freely in their natural habitat. After an unforgettable experience return to the hotel and have breakfast.
   (IMPORTANT: The elephant ride is booked on spot on first come basis and also depend on the availability of the elephants. Eastern Horizon does not guarantee the safari. In case the elephant ride is not possible, the alternate car safari will be arranged).
  After breakfast we go for an excursion to coochbihar, visit Raj palace and spend some time there, return back to Jaldapara in the late afternoon, free evening,
  Overnight at Jaldapara
• Day 3 : Lataguri Transfer

  Jaldapara to Lataguri via Murti – 70km in 2.5hrs:
  Today morning we drive to Lataguri. Lataguri is now a very popular tourist destination for its proximity to Gorumara National Park. It is a best place to explore the entire National park. One can see the one horned rhino, leopard, elephant and bison.
  Check in at resort. Get refreshed.
  Afternoon later on Gorumara Jungle Safari 20km in 1 hrs (one way) : Car safari is a best way to explore the forest. Watch the roaring leopard and a heard of deer from your vehicle. We take you to Rhino Point-a watch tower in the middle of the park and watch the entire Gorumara national park. Watch Tower here gives an excellent view of the grassland with Murti and Jaldhaka River.
  After a thrilling excitement, return back to resort, free evening.
  Overnight at Lataguri

  • Hotspots Gorumara National Park
• Day 4 : Forest safari & Samsing & Suntaleykhola Excursion

  Morning enjoy Jeep safari inside the Chapramari Forest(6:00 AM) and return back to Resort. After breakfast enjoy day excursion to Samsing and Suntaleykhola and return back to Lataguri in the late afternoon, free evening, Overnight at Lataguri
• Day 5 : Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station drop

  Check out from Resort and drive back to NJP Station/Bagdogra Airport/Siliguri 85 kms in 3 hrs drive approx, tour ends with lifelong cherishing moments.
