Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kochi

  Welcome to India and God's own country - Kerala! On arrival at Kochi International airport, you will be received and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax and wind down. Overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 2 : Kochi to Munnar

  This morning drive east to Munnar - a picturesque hill station nestled on the verdant slopes of tea plantations. Situated loftiness of 1600m, Munnar in Southern India presents spectacular views of the adjoining mounts carpeted with tea farms. From various sites in Munnar, one can see Anamudi (2695m), South India's highest peak. Evening being free to leisure and night stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Munnar

  Shift out to visit many attractions of Munnar town. Also stopover a tea factory, where one can learn about the various stages of tea dispensation.
• Day 4 : Munnar to Periyar National Park

  Welcome to Periyar, South India's highly popular animals sanctuary and habitat to bison, antelopes, sambar, wild boar deer and even Bengal tigers (it is estimated that there are 40 that inhabit the 777sq.km reserve). This park is the majorly admirable elephant sanctuary in India and also home to over 260 different species of birds. Stay in a Jungle lodge exactly within the park.
• Day 5 : Periyar National Park

  A day will be utilize for a spice plantation tour, an elephant ride and a boat expedition in the park. You may also visit Kumli, a small town near to the sanctuary, filled with spice and craft shops. Rest of the day is for leisure.
• Day 6 : Periyar to Kumarakom

  Drive to Kumarakom. Situated fuzzily amongst a kink of abundant tropical waterways known as the Keralan backwaters, Kumarakom is technically a cluster of islands on Lake Vembanad - Asia's one of the largest freshwater lakes. This is a perfect place to lighten up for the next two days and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. There is also a breathtaking bird sanctuary stretch across 14 acres, which is a honored haunt of migratory birds and thus a worthy visit. Overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 7 : Kumarakom

  This day is free for relaxation. You may go for an ayurveda massage or just relax on the lakeside. Overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 8 : Kerala backwaters

  Keralan backwaters - Alleppey. At midday we board a fully furnished private rice-boat for a journey through the backwaters in and around Alleppey. Kerala's backwaters are shaped by 40 weird rivers that run to the Arabian Sea from the Cardamom hills in the Western Ghats, this system of rivers, canals, lakes and tributaries encompass one of India's most stunning areas - a rustic spread of grassy coconut groves and rice paddies. Our personal rice-boat get us serenely down the captivating palm-fringed backwaters, covering a distance of some 20 kms, during which time the boat will glides past local villages and fascinating scenes of everyday rural life. Lookout for a gorgeous sunset over the backwaters and take pleasure in having a delicious meals made by the onboard chef, by utilizing fresh local products. Overnight stay on board.
• Day 9 : Alleppey to Fort Kochi

  Disembarking the houseboat after breakfast we drive back to Kochi. Kochi flawlessly replicates the principles of the state of Kerala. This afternoon enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of historic Fort Kochi. Here you can witness the Chinese fishing nets and discover the winding streets of the old town, visiting St Francis' Church and a Dutch palace built by the Portuguese and later refurbish in the Flemish style by the Dutch. A legendary in the history books, Kochi (previously named as Cochin) presented shelter to Jews around 2,500 years ago. The Portuguese set up the first European colony in Kochi in the 16th century. The Dutch speedily chased and finally, the British. The multi-ethnic mix of cultures makes the city captivating.
  
  In the evening, witness a Kathakali show - Kathakali is the traditional dance form of Kerala. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 10 : Kochi

  The day marks the conclusion of our journey through beautiful Kerala. At apt time checkout and move to Kochi International airport to board your flight back home.
