This holiday combines tickets to the first two test matches in the England Rugby Summer Tour to South Africa, with a visit to Sun City & Big Five safari in Pilanesberg National Park. You can visit the Apartheid Museum & Soweto in Johannesburg, before flying to Bloemfontein. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  You will be met at Johannesburg Airport and transferred to your hotel in this thriving city.
  
  Check in and relax under warm blue South African skies in 'Egoli' - the city of gold.
• Day 2 : Journey to Freedom

  Today we recommend an optional full day Journey to Freedom tour - starting with a visit to the Apartheid Museum, a living memorial to racial segregation.
  
  We continue to the sprawling township of Soweto for lunch (own account). Here we visit the Hector Pieterson Museum and drive past the original home of Nelson Mandela, with option of visiting this small museum (entrance fee for own account), before returning to Johannesburg in the late afternoon.
  
  Note: Tour departs on a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday only (min 2).
• Day 3 : South Africa

  This afternoon transfer to the Emirates Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg, to watch the first thrilling test match in the England Summer Tour against South Africa.
  
  Kickoff: 17.05
  
  After the match you will be transferred back to your hotel, or dropped off at vibrant Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton, where you can celebrate at one of its many restaurants and pubs.

• Day 4 : Sun City

  Transfer 2-hours through the rural North West Province to the resort of Sun City.
  
  Check in, settle in and relax in your lush subtropical surrounding whilst enjoying the many facilities of your luxury resort, which offers the best of Vegas-style gaming combined with world-class sporting and entertainment facilities.
• Day 5 : Sun City

  Relax and enjoy the many facilities of Sun City.
  
  Although originally established as a gaming resort, today Sun City offers a wide variety of outdoor, sporting and leisure activities - with its wonderfully warm weather having made it one of South Africa’s most popular holiday destinations.
  
  The resort has many beautiful swimming pools, whilst the "Valley of the Waves" water park has gentle rides as well as thrilling steep slides and a tropical beach with real waves. There are a wide variety of water sports on the dam, as well as adventure activities such as quad biking and the famous zip wire.
  
  The resort has two world class golf courses at the Gary Player Country Club and Lost City - where crocodiles can be found in one of the water hazards - as well as tennis courts, gym and an outstanding spa. The resort also offers a wide variety of restaurants.
  
  If you would like to gamble the entertainment centre offers slot machines and bingo, whilst the casino offers black jack, roulette and more. Outside there are waterfalls, a walk-through aviary and abundant tropical bird life.
• Day 6 : Sun City

  Relax and enjoy the many facilities of Sun City.

• Day 7 : Pilanesberg Game Reserve

  Enjoy more of the pleasures of Sun City this morning, before your transfer to the malaria free Pilanesberg Game Reserve.
  
  After checking into your game lodge, enjoy your first game drive in an open-top game viewing vehicle in this superb Big 5 game reserve, uniquely situated inside an extinct volcano. Hopefully see elephants, lions, antelope and a wide variety of other wildlife, before enjoying dinner in your warm African surroundings.
• Day 8 : Pilanesberg Game Reserve

  Today is devoted to game viewing in Pilanesberg Game Reserve.
  
  Rise early when game viewing conditions are at their best, for an open-top game drive in Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Hope to see several of the Big 5 - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino - as well as many other animals before returning to your lodge for breakfast.
  
  The rest of the morning is free to relax by the swimming pool or visit neighbouring Sun City, before setting out again in the late afternoon for another game drive. Hope to see giraffe, wildebeest, hippo, kudu, antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons and many other interesting species. Outstanding bird watching is also guaranteed.
  
  After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the Milky Way as you have never seen them before – as well as the spectacular Southern Cross.
• Day 9 : Pilanesberg Game Reserve

  Time permitting, enjoy a final early morning game drive in Pilanesberg Game Reserve before your 2-hour transfer to Johannesburg Airport for your onward flight.
  
  You will be met at Bloemfontein Airport and transferred into the city, which is the regional capital of the Free State province and the seat of the Supreme Court of South Africa.
  
  Check into your hotel in this town that was once the capital of an independent Boer Republic.
• Day 10 : Toyota Free State Stadium

  This afternoon transfer to the Toyota Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein, to watch the second test match in the England Summer Tour, as they take on the mighty Springboks - traditionally a powerhouse in international rugby.
  
  Kickoff: 17.05
  
  After the match you will be transferred back to your hotel, or dropped off in town to celebrate at one of the local pubs or restaurants.

• Day 11 : Departure

  Transfer to Bloemfontein Airport for your flight home.
