Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Cochin

  Upon arrival at the Cochin Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.
  Afternoon proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Cochin. The tour begins from “The Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays)” also known as Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese in 1555, which is famous for its murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana and the puranic legends. Adjacent to the palace is the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fridays & Saturdays) built in 1568. Also visit the St. Francis Church (closed on Sundays), established by the Portuguese Franciscan friars in 1503. The Tour also includes visit to the seaside where one can still see the nearly a century old Chinese fishing nets, which are still in use. Overnight at the hotel.
• Day 2 : Cochin – Munnar

  Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, proceed Munnar which is 150kms (4hrs) drive from Cochin. Later Check-in to the hotel and evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 3 : Munnar

  After breakfast go for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupetty Dam, Tea Plantation visit, Rajamalai, Eravikulam National Park. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 4 : Munnar / Thekkady 125kms (4hrs)

  After breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed for Thekkady which is around 125kms (4hrs) drive from Munnar. Enroute visit spices plantation Check in at the Hotel. Evening Enjoy boat ride viewing the wildlife. The wildlife includes wild Elephants, Indian Gaur, Monkeys, spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Wild Boar and birds of myriad varieties. Back to the hotel for breakfast. Overnight at the hotel.
• Day 5 : Periyar – Kumarakom

  Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, drive from Periyar to Kumarakom (135 kms/4 hrs.) and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Later in the evening sunset cruise of Vembanand Lake. Overnight at the hotel.
• Day 6 : Kumarakom – Cochin – Depart

  Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, your enchanting holiday ends today and it’s time to travel back home.
