The Tibet with Mount Everest Base Camp Tour is a very comprehensive tour of Tibet with visits to the cultural, historic and natural attractions of Tibet. The tour includes all the important places of interest in central & south Tibet including a visit to Rongphu Monastery and Mt. Everest Base Camp.

We begin this tour from Kathmandu fly to Lhasa then drive Across the Tibetan highlands and high passes to the fabled Rongphu Monastery and Mt. • Day 1 : Arrival

  Kathmandu [1,338 m]: Arrive and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel Manang or Similar.
• Day 2 : Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu

  Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu [1,338 m] - : After Breakfast at Hotel. Full day sightseeing including Visit 2000 years old Buddhist shrine Swyambhunath, situated on the top of the hill west of the city the most popular and instantly recognizable symbols of Nepal. The temple is colloquially known as the "Monkey Temple". There are many small buildings and shrines down the hillside behind Swayambhunath. Explore the colorful Kathmandu Durbar Square - The Old Royal Palace of Kathmandu, Temple of living goddess Kumari, the Jagannath temple, 17th century temple known for colorfully painted erotic carvings, Kasthmandap temple a three story temple built from a single tree in 12th century. Afternoon Sightseeing tour around Patan is often referred to as Lalitpur, which means "city of beauty". Patan has a long Buddhist History and the four corners of the city are marked by Stupas erected by the great Buddhist emperor Ashoka around 250 BC.
  Visit Patan City second largest city of valley including Royal Palace, Bhimsen temple, Manga Hiti, King Yogaendra Malla's Statue, Krishna temple, Taleju temple 15th century Golden Temple and Mahaboudha Temple known as temple of 10,000 Buddha, Kumbeshwar Temple. • Day 3 : Kathmandu - Nagarkot

  Kathmandu - Nagarkot [2,175 m] - : After Breakfast at Hotel we Visit Pashupatinath temple one of the most sacred Hindu shrine in the World. The holy river Bagmati and the burning ghats and also visit one of the oldest and biggest stupa of Boudhanath.
  After lunch we drive to Nagarkot that lies 35 km east of the Kathmandu city located at the elevation of 7200 ft., which offers 200 miles panorama of the Himalayas of Mt. Everest in the east to Dhaulagiri in the west, Arrive Nagarkot, Hotel Check in. Watch the Sunset and Himalayan views. Overnight stay at Hotel View point or Similar.

• Day 4 : Nagarkot - Kathmandu

  Nagarkot - Kathmandu [1,338 m] - Morning wake up call for sunrise and Himalayan views in Nagarkot. After Breakfast transfer to Kathmandu on the way back to Kathmandu visit Bhaktapur also known as city of Devotees and center of medieval art and architecture founded by King Anand Dev in 889 AD visit Nyatapola temple, the most beautiful temple of Nepal, the 15th century palace of 55 windows, Golden gate and other place of Interest. • Day 5 : Kathmandu - Kerung Border

  Kathmandu - Kerung Border [2,900 m] (175 Km) 06-07 hours drive - Early in the morning scenic drive to Kerung Border (Nepal-Tibet Border) through the beautiful Nepalese countryside and after necessary border formalities at Nepalese immigration, an hour adventurous uphill drive by Bus & jeep (normally) or 2 hour walk uphill (in case of landslide to Chinese immigration, check-in to hotel or Continue drive to Kerung. Over night at Guest House.

• Day 6 : Kerung to Tingri

  Kerung to Tingri [4,300 m] (250 Km) 05-06 hours drive - Your Journey starts with an adventure drive into the dry and arid landscape of the Tibetan Plateau. You pass through Peikhu Tso Lake (4600M, a cobalt blue lake). En route you can enjoy great panorama of Himalaya including Mount Shishapangma, Langtang, Gaurishanker and Annapurna. From Old Tingri you could also see Mount Everest. The sunset view is also very awesome if the weather is good. Over night at Guest House.

• Day 7 : Tingri to Rongbuk

  Tingri to Rongbuk [4,980 m] Excursion- EBC [5,200 m] (100 Km) 02 hours drive - After breakfast, drive to Rongbuk which is located about 100 km from Tingri. In the afternoon, excursion to the Everest Base Camp as well as visit Rongbuk Monastery and other interesting sites near the monastery. Over night at Guest House.

• Day 8 : Rongbuk to Shigatse

  Rongbuk to Shigatse [3,900 m] (365 Km) 06-08 hours drive: Today early in the morning, you will hike to the North Face of Everest Base Camp; Explore around EBC and back to Rongbuk. Eat Breakfast and continue drive to Shigatse, the second busiest town of Tibet observing magnificent Himalayan views en-route. Over night at Hotel Manasarover or similar.

• Day 9 : Shigatse - Gyantse

  Shigatse - Gyantse [3,950 m] (90 km) 02-03 hours drive - Morning sightseeing to the Panchen Lama's Tashilhumpu Monastery and Market in Xigatse. Drive to Gyantse and visit to the Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery . Over night at Hotel Yeti or Similar.

• Day 10 : Gyantse - Lhasa

  Gyantse - Lhasa [3,650 m] (261 km) 05-07 hours drive - Full day picturesque drive crossing over Karo La (5010m.), Kamba La (4794m.), colorful Yamdrok Lake and Tibetan lifeline river Brahma Putra (Yarlung Tsangpo). Over night at Hotel Yak or Similar.
