Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin Arrival and drop to Munnar (140 km / 04 hr. drive)

  On arrival Cochin our tour assistance will meet you outside the airport and he will introduce you to our driver after that start your drive to Munnar- the heart of Kerala Tea growing region, On your way visit tea and spice plantations, Cheeyappara waterfalls, view point etc. On arrival Munnar and check in your hotel as you will be very tired after long drive, take rest and the day is free for your own activities, overnight stay in Munnar.

• Day 2 : Munnar Sightseeing

  After breakfast, proceed for Munnar full day Sightseeing, stroll in a tea plantation or venture further afield to visit Eravikulam National Park, one of the last refuges of the rare Nilgiri Tahr, a mountain goat endemic to these hills, overnight in Munnar.

• Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady (110 km / 3 hr. drive)

  After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady. Transfer to hotel & relax. Afternoon, proceed for sightseeing - The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary by jeep or on foot - for the adventurous there is the opportunity to camp overnight in the jungle. Periyar Sanctuary covers over 750 square kilometres and features a wide array of habitats, making it an ideal home for mammals, birds and reptiles in vast numbers. Elephants and tigers are the most famous residents and the lucky few will possibly see these, but the smaller fauna is equally interesting and even a short forest walk near the town will likely bring you into contact with the beautiful Malabar Giant Squirrel - bigger than a domestic cat- and the unique Nilgiri Black Langur - a very noisy monkey! You can also do things in Thekkady like - Boat cruises on the Periyar Lake, visit cardamom, pepper, tea & coffee plantation, overnight in Thekkady/Periyar.

• Day 4 : Thekkady - Alleppey (190 km / 6 hr.)

  After breakfast, transfer to Alleppey .Arrive Alleppey and check in to hotel. In the evening go for sunset cruise in the Vembanadu Lake. Also visit Alleppey beach and also shopping, overnight at hotel.

  Alleppey Houseboat
  Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey, where you will be booked to stay overnight on the Houseboat. Staying in Houseboat is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, evening tea & snacks, dinner next day breakfast and will be provided in the boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place, overnight at Houseboat.

• Day 5 : Alleppey - Kovalam (150 km / 4 hr.)

  After breakfast, depart the backwaters and drive to Kovalam. Later go for half day city tour covering Museum complex, Sri. Padmanabhaswamy temple, science & technology museum, veli tourist village, aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach after that overnight stay at Kovalam.

• Day 6 : Kovalam

  Full day free at the resort for Ayurveda treatment and enjoy the resort facilities or visit to Kovalam Beach. This internationally renowned beach has been a favorite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. The southernmost as the light house beach, is the most popular, overnight in Kovalam.

• Day 7 : Trivandrum / Cochin drop

  After breakfast, day is free for leisure, afternoon check out the hotel and drop at Trivandrum airport.
