Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi - Ark

  Leave in the morning to reach the small town of Nyeri in time for lunch before leaving for the Ark in the early afternoon. The night is spent in your comfortable perch above the floodlit waterhole and saltlick where, nightlong, a procession of animals comes to drink.
• Day 2 : Ark - Mt. Kenya Safari Club

  After breakfast a short drive brings you to the Mount Kenya Safari Club whose membership includes a host of movie stars, politicians and aristocrats. Here you can have a day of total relaxation in the splendid landscaped surroundings. Activities available include golf, tennis, horseback riding, and of course swimming in the heated pool. Overnight and all meals is at the Club.
• Day 3 : Mt. Kenya safari club - Sweetwaters Tented Camp

  Depart in the morning for the Sweetwaters Tented Camp in Ol Pejeta Conservancy arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon is spent at leisure with a game drive and a later chance of viewing game from the private comfort of your balconies as the camp is built around a central water hole and salt-lick that is floodlit at night. This Game Sanctuary, set in the typical African savanna dotted with acacia, whistling thorn and other tree species, plays host to a wide array of wildlife including all the “Big Five” and well populated rhino and chimpanzee Sanctuaries. Besides, it also gives one a very good and panoramic view of the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya (5’199M) on a clear day. Dinner and overnight is at the Tented Camp.
• Day 4 : Sweetwaters - Masai Mara

  After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip to catch a short flight to the Masai Mara National Park where you will be met by your driver guide for your transfer to Mara Safari Club in time for check in and lunch. An afternoon game drive follows, then your drive back to the Club for dinner and overnight.
• Day 5 : Masai Mara

  Your experienced “Driver-naturalist”, in a four-wheel drive land-cruiser, guides your game drives at the Mara Safari Club set in the OL-Choro Oiroua Conservation Area, bordering the Masai Mara Game Reserve, at the foot of the Aitong Hills and sur

• Day 6 : Masai Mara

  The guests enjoy a full day game drive. This will be a day of tracking game with your guide, after an early breakfast. The Mara's landscape is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills, which enables the reserve to attract sufficient rainfall to maintain and support a large population of herbivores, together with the predators that follow. Elephant, lion, buffalo can be seen with relative ease though luck is a necessary factor for spotting rhino and leopard that complete the big five as the two animals are very timid and sparsely numbered. Plains game like wildebeest, zebra and Masai giraffe abound as well as hippos and a wide variety of antelopes including impala, dik dik, hartebeest, Grant’s gazelle and Thompson’s gazelle among others. Dinner and Overnight is at the Mara Safari Club.

  After breakfast, you take a transfer to the Mara airstrip to catch your flight back to Nairobi marking the end of a fulfilling and memorable Africa wilderness experience.
