Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin

  ARRIVE at COCHIN International Airport. Meet and Transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Sightseeing Options : Jewish Synagogue & Dutch Palace (closed on Saturdays), St. Francis Church (closed on Sunday). Stroll among the traditional Chinese Fishing nets overlooking the mouth of the Cochin Harbour. Go for a Cochin Harbour Cruise* (at additional cost). Overnight at Hotel.

  • Hotspots : Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace

• Day 2 : Athirapally

  After breakfast drive to ATHIRAPALLY, a picturesque drive of two hours from Cochin, to one of the most scenic Waterfalls of Kerala, of ‘Raavan’ fame. Check in at Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 3 : Munnar

  After breakfast drive to MUNNAR, a picturesque drive of three and half hours, up the evergreen Western Ghats, along verdant forests and expanses of tea and spice plantations and a variety of flora and fauna. Enroute, stop at Cheyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. At Munnar, check in at Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 4 : Munnar

  At MUNNAR. After breakfast, visit the Tea Museum and Blossom Gardens (Munnar Hydel Park) at Munnar Town. Move on to visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Kundalay Lake. Go boating* (at additional cost), into the interiors of the Dam, to see virgin forests and a spectacular scenery. Afternoon : Proceed to visit Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai), home of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 5 : Alleppey

  After breakfast drive to ALLEPPEY, popularly known as the ‘Venice of the East’. It is a four hour drive from Munnar. Board the HOUSEBOAT at noon. Explore the serene beauty of the backwaters during your stay on board the Kettuvallam - traditional riceboats of Kerala. Cruise and experience the lifestyle of the people in a world surrounded by water, along narrow canals passing churches, temples, and schools and along the shores of the Kuttanad paddy fields - one of the rare instances of paddy fields cultivated below the sea-level. Try your hand at fishing and your fresh catch will be cooked for you on the spot. Laze around on the deck and catch up on your reading. Overnight on board the Houseboat.

• Day 6 : Kumarakom

  After breakfast drive down to KUMARAKOM, a scenic one hour drive from Alleppey. Check-in at Hotel. Day at leisure enjoying the ambience of the backwaters. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 7 : Departure

  After breakfast, departure transfer to Cochin Airport for onward Departure.
