Day 1 : Arrival in Paro
Arrive at Paro International Airport.
Our guide and driver will receive from the airport.
Visit Kyichu Lhakhang. It was originally built in 7th century and Padmasambhava visited in 8th century.
Day 2 : Paro to Phobjikha
Visit Chimi Lhakhang. It was built in 1499 and it stands on a round hillock.
Gangtey Nature Trail Hike: The most beautiful and shortest of the existing nature trails in Bhutan. The hike takes about 1hr 30minutes through the pine forest and small bamboo plants. You can see the beautifully Phobjikha valley as you take this hike. During the winter months, we can see the endangered species of birds – Black Neck Cranes.
Day 3 : Phobjikha to Trongsa
Visit Trongsa Dzong: It is built on a spur overlooking the gorge of the Mangde River. Initially a temple was first established at the location in 1543 and in 1647 Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal constructed the first dzong to replace temple and called Chökhor Rabtentse Dzong with a shorter version of Choetse Dzong.
Day 4 : Trongsa to Bumthang
Visit Kurjey Lhakhang: It is one of the most sacred and holy places in Bhutan.
Visit Mebartsho: Mebar Tsho means burning lake. The lake is renowned for its beauty, serenity and spiritual significance as sacred.
Day 5 : Bumthang to Punakha
Visit Wangdue Phodrang Dzong: It was built by Zhangdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1638.
Visit Punakha Dzong. It was built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.
Day 6 : Punakha to Thimphu
Visit Tashichho Dzong. It was initially built in 1216 and known as Do-Ngön Dzong. In 1641 it was renamed as Tashi chhodzong by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel.
Visit The Memorial Chorten. It was built in 1974 to honor the Third Druk Gyalpo Jigme Dorji Wangchuk (1928-1972) and it is a prominent landmark in capital city of Bhutan.
Visit Buddha Dordenma. It is the largest Buddha Statue in the world with 177 feet (54 m) and contains 100,000 8-inch-tall and 25,000 12-inch-tall gilded bronze Buddhas.
Visit Motithang Takin Preserve: The takin is believed that the head of the goat is fixed it to the skeleton of the cow by the Divine Madman great Lam Drukpa Kuenlay. It is National Animal of Bhutan.
Day 7 : Paro
Tiger’s Nest Hike: The temple was built in 1692. It is a sacred Vajrayana Himalayan Buddhist site located in the cliffside of the upper Paro valley in Bhutan.
Day 8 : Departure
Depart from Paro Airport.
