Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Amman - Petra

  Upon arrival at Amman airport, you will be met and a Jordanian Tourism tax will be paid on your behalf to cover public liability insurance on equipment such as Jeeps, camels and horses. You will be assisted through customs and baggage claim (visas are included) and then transferred to your hotel in Petra which will take 3 hours.
  
  You will then be free to explore as you wish. Siq Al-Barid or Little Petra, 10 minutes drive away from Petra was an important suburb of the city of Petra and has a temple standing guard over it. It is located at the meeting point of several old caravan routes and linked Wadi Araba with Gaza and Egypt and the Mediterranean coast. There are many temples, tombs, houses and water channels and cisterns packed into the 350 m long strip and is fascinating and enjoyable to explore.

• Day 2 : Petra

  After breakfast, you will have a private city tour where you will be able to see the wonders of this city carved out of red rock and known as Rose City. As the legacy of the Arabic Nabataeans over 2000 years ago, you will see the huge architectural buildings and monuments, the complex water systems and channels and carvings in the cliffs which are awe inspiring. You will have lunch and the services of a driver.

• Day 4 : Petra - Amman

  After breakfast you will be returned to Amman where you will visit Jerash in the Gilead Mountains. It is one of the largest and most well preserved Roman sites in the world. You will see colonnaded streets, hilltop temples, theatres, squares, baths and fountains.

• Day 5 : Amman

  After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport in Amman for your flight.
