Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bangalore

  Heritage India Expeditions Welcome's you at Bangalore airport , the capital of Karnataka and transfer to prebooked hotel. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel in Bangalore.

  • Themes : Heritage

• Day 2 : Bangalore - Shravanabelagola - Hassan

  Morning breakfast. Leave for visit of Bangalore city which boasts for its salubrious climate with innumerable parks, gardens, lakes and tree-lined avenues. Afternoon drive towards Hassan. Enroute visit Shravanabelagola which is one of the oldest and most important Jain pilgrimage centers in India. The site of the huge statue of Lord Bahubali (Gomateshvara), which at 17 meters high and carved out of a single piece of rock and is the world`s tallest monolithic statue. Continue towards Hassan.Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Overnight Stay at hotel.

• Day 3 : Hassan - Sriranganpatam - Mysore

  Morning breakfast. Leave for the visit of Belur and Halebid temple complexes (12th-14th centuries). Built by the Hoysala kings, the temples at Belur and Halebid are the cream of what remains of one of the most artistically exuberant periods of Hindu Cultural development. Later drive towards Mysore. Enroute visit Srirangapatnam, the Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan built in 1784 AD. Continue towards Mysore. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Later in the evening excursion to Chamudi hills. Visit the Sri Chamundeswari Temple, a huge in structure with a seven story Gopuram 40 meters high. Return to hotel for overnight Stay.

• Day 4 : Mysore

  Morning breakfast. Leave for the visit the the Mysore Palace, the principal residence of the former royal family deigned by Henry Irwin. There are beautiful carved wooden doors and mosaic floors, as well as a whole series of mediocre. Return back to hotel. Afternoon, visit the Somnathpur Temple built in the 13th century during the heyday of Hoysala kings. Later in the evening walk in the colourful Devraj Market.ime free for shopping. Overnight Stay at hotel.

• Day 5 : Mysore - Nagarhole

  Morning breakfast.Leave for Nagarhole a perfect getaway for bird lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike; a place rich in forests, little streams, undulating valleys and fascinating waterfalls; a haven for many wild denizens and one of the last safe asylums for the Asian Elephant. Arrive and check-in at the Jungle Lodge. Lunch. Afternoon jeep safari into the Nagarhole National Park with the naturalists showing & sharing with you their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there. Tea / Coffee will be served during the visit. Return to lodge. Later in the evening enjoy the warmth of the campfire with the other guests. Dinner and Overnight.

• Day 6 : Nagarhole - Kozikode

  Early morning tea/coffee. Cruise through the serene backwaters of the Kabini River on a motor boat viewing sleepy crocodiles and chirpy birds, intent on their morning catch. Breakfast in the forest. .Return to the lodge. After wash & change, leave for Calicut through the lush green rainforests. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Time free for relax. Later in the evening, stroll along the stretch takes you to the beach where, Vasco Da Gama the famous Portuguese traveler alighted four centuries back, in search of the land of fantasy - India. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 7 : Kozikode - Mahe - Kozikode

  Morning breakfast. Drive towards Mahe, a small French dependency handed over to India at Independence. Visit the St. Theresa's Church set up in a height on the small hill and offers superb sights on the river and forest of Wynad. Return to hotel. Later in the afternoon leave for the sightseeing of Calicut a major commercial center for North Kerala. Calicut is famous for traditional martial arts. Visit the Pazhassirajah Museum, which includes which includes copies of ancient murals, bronzes, coins, and models of megalithic monuments - the earlier monuments of Kerala. Next visit the Krishna Menon Museum whose art gallery has the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma.

• Day 8 : Kozikode - Guruvayoor - Kochi

  Morning breakfast. Drive along the coast line and cross various water streams running into the ocean and the back waters coming into the land towards Cochin. En route stop at Guruvayur, to visit the famous Sri Krishna Temple which is one of the most famous in Kerala. Later visit the Punnathur Kota where about 43 temple elephants are kept. It is really interesting to see the elephant calfs being bathed and fed. Continue towards Cochin. Arrive Cochin and check-in at the hotel. Time free for relax. Later in the evening enjoy the spectacle of Kathakali dance. Overnight Stay at hotel.

• Day 9 : Kochi - Enjoy at kochi Beach

  Morning breakfast. Leave for the visit of Kochi, with a fine natural harbour, which has been Kerala's center of trade for innumerable centuries. Visit the St. Francis Church, built in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan friars, The Jewish synagogue, one of the oldest in India. Afternoon visit the Mattancherry Palace or "Dutch Palace built in 1557 AD. Evening, stroll along the beach, particularly at sunset with the Chinese fishing nets and sailing ships in the background. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.

• Day 10 : Kochi - Backwaters - Alleppey - Kovalam

  Morning breakfast. Drive towards Allepey also called "the rice bowl of Kerala" because of its wealth & culture of paddy fields in the heart of the backwaters. Upon arrival, board on private traditional rice boat for a cruise of the backwaters. A series of canals which thread their way through the state to the sea, allows you a glimpse of life in Kerala which is impossible to get from road. Along the way you will pass rice fields, tiny villages, boats transporting children to school and farmers transporting their produce to the market, and women completing household tasks such as laundry, and washing utensils. After few hours of navigation, disembark at Quilon, historically significant as an ancient capital that traded with the Phoenicians, Greeks and Romans, also known to Marco Polo. Drive to Kovalam. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Time free for at leisure on the private beach, swimming pool, hammocks under the coconut trees or the Ayurveda (the life Science) is practiced on the site...! Also there are many sports possibilities like tennis, badminton, billiard and table tennis.

• Day 12 : Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Kovalam

  Morning breakfast. Leave for full day sightseeing of Kanyakumari and Vivekenanda Memorial Rock. Cape Comorin, Land's End ­ mainland India's southernmost point, where three seas meet and where the shore temple to the virgin goddess Kanyakumari stands. There are two significant memorials here. One is the Gandhi Mandapam, built to commemorate the immersion of the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi in the waters by the temple. The other memorial, dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, is built on the rock 656 ft. from the shore where he meditated in 1892 before taking the message of the Hindu philosophy to the west. Return to hotel. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

• Day 13 : Kovalam - Trivandrum - Bangalore (Flight)

  Morning breakfast. Leave for visit of Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala, is a charming town with an undulating landscape where large public buildings are surrounded by wide avenues and lovely gardens. The most fascinating attractions are the Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery and the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, built in the Dravidian style. Later in the afternoon transfer to airport to connect flight for Bangalore. Arrive and time free for shopping at MG Road.. Later in the evening transfer to International airport.

• Day 14 : Back to Bangalore

  Board on you flight to connect for onward destination.

Booking of Tours:


As soon you are ready to proceed with the reservations, you will be required to send 20% of the total tour cost as an advance payment to make the booking. Apart from the 20% of the tour price, you would also need to pay us the full amount for air/train tickets to be issued.

As soon as the advance is received, we will initiate the bookings for your hotels reservations, book your tickets and start making necessary arrangements for your trip and keep you updated.

Once this is done, a reservation status will be sent to you. You will then be required to pay another 30% of the tour cost at this point.

Balance 50% of the tour price can be paid by you upon your arrival in India by cash, but before the commencement of the services. Alternatively you could pay by bank transfer a fortnight before your arrival.


Please note that the prices quoted are as per the prevailing foreign exchange conversion rates. The final price will therefore be subjected to fluctuations, if any, and will be accordingly adjusted at the time of receipt of payment.

** During peak season of Christmas and New Year (20 Dec to 05 Jan), the complete payment is required to be sent in advance.

** For Special Luxury Train Journeys, 25% of the fare is to be paid at the time of booking. Balance is to be 75 days prior to departure date.

Amendment to a Booked Tour

We do not encourage changes in the confirmed arrangements. But if you do need to make amendments in the arrangements already confirmed, we will do all possible to accommodate the changes, depending on the availability of various segments of the tour, for the new requirements. However, the changes will be subject to certain minimum amendment / administration charges.

Cancellation of a Booked Tour

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to India, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen. Cancellation must be notified in writing and will take effect the day it is received by Heritage India Expeditions.

The following cancellation charges will apply: -
-If cancellation is 90 days prior to arrival - 50% of the deposited amount towards 'Tour cost" shall be refunded.
-If cancellation is between 90 days to 60 days prior to arrival - 30% of the deposited amount towards "Tour Cost" shall be refunded
-If cancellation is between 60 days to 30 days prior to arrival - 20% of the deposited amount towards "Tour Cost" shall be refunded
-If cancellation is within 30 days prior to arrival - No Refund

Cancellation of Luxury Train Journeys:
-If cancellation is 75 days or more prior to departure :10% of the total ticket price shall be the cancellation charge
-If cancellation is 74 to 25 days prior to departure: 25% of the total ticket price shall be the cancellation charge
-If cancellation is less than 25 days prior to departure: No refund. 100% of the total ticket price shall be the cancellation charge.

Cancellation of Flight Tickets: Flight Tickets booked are non refundable. Name change and date change can be considered as per the rules stipulated by the airline.

Cancellation of Wildlife Safaris: Wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment can be be refunded/ adjusted against it.

Payments through credit card can be also be made through our OFFLINE mode. For adopting this mode, we shall require an "Authorization" authorizing us to charge your credit card.

Payment through "Bank Transfer"

For guests arriving in places other than stated above.

Balance payment is to be made one week prior to start of the tour.

For guests arriving in Delhi, following options are available :

(3)Through "Authorization" only if itinerary is of more than 5 days and provided stay in Delhi is more than 2 days.

Other Terms and Conditions

The Users availing services from Heritage India Expeditions shall be considered and reckoned to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions. Liabilities of Heritage India Expeditions shall be restricted to the scope of this agreement.

The User expressly agrees that use of the services is at their sole risk to the extent that Heritage India Expeditions acts only as a booking agent on behalf of third party service providers, and therefore, all services provided, shall be subject to "as is" and "as available" basis and shall be governed by the terms and conditions under which these services are provided by service providers. Further, Heritage India Expeditions shall not have any liability whatsoever for any aspect of the standards of services provided by the service providers.

The user agrees that there can be "Force Maj-ure" circumstances accruing out of acts of God, fire, weather, labour unrest, insolvency, operational and technical issues, etc resulting in the service providers such as airlines, hotels, transportation providers not able to honour confirmed bookings. In such an event Heritage India Expeditions shall not be responsible and shall have the right to change a schedule, booking, itinerary in the interest of safety, comfort and general well being of the user.

Heritage India Expeditions hereby expressly disclaims any implied warranties imputed by the laws of any jurisdiction or country and considers itself subject to the jurisdiction only of the courts of NCR of Delhi, India.
